[ Well, that's. Hm. Not the most upsetting effigy of a dog he's ever seen, but it's in the top hundred, at least. House hasn't told him to do anything else with them, though, so he just keeps holding onto them. ]

Alert. Focused, but not to an obsessive degree. Less overwhelmed with the process of mourning.

Of course. [ It doesn't sound judgmental as he says it, but given that this is Castiel it's a little up in the air as to whether that's because it wasn't or because he still has yet to fully master conveying intent through tone of voice. ]

I've been clearing away the debris from our cleaning efforts. Mold that's been neutralized, abandoned ant nests. I haven't found anything else of note, but it should be easier to navigate in here now.

[ Castiel nods. ]

If there are any of them that you and the others are done examining, I can do that now. I didn't want to disrupt your investigation.

In a moment. Unless you want to help, that is. [ He's more than strong enough to carry a desiccated corpse out into the snow, but if he wants to carry the body out with any modicum of respect and not risk causing it further damage he'll need a second pair of hands. ]

It's good that you're talking again. I don't think I've seen a death affect you so seriously before.
