They were people when they were alive. Surely there's something you have in common with at least one of them. Don't assume they don't have any identifiers of significance beyond the fact that they're dead.

And...they might. That's always a possibility. A distinctly strong possibility if you do this from any of the cult-dominated areas; you should be aware of that.
