[log] Fresh Poison Each Week [closed]
Characters: House, Wilson, Hannibal, Will, Ecks
Location: Building 317
Date: Morning 356
Summary: Post-event recovery
Warnings: Hannibal-related warnings, plus event-related: fingernail horror, toothloss, cannibalism, vomiting, forced feeding, PTSD, mental instability, hallucinations, are possible to come up.
[Judging from the outside, this was definitely a house, but going inside, it seems to have been converted into something like an infirmary. There are a lot of metal tables neatly arranged in the living room and kitchen, and the bedroom has a mattress lightly-stained with blood: it seems like someone at least tried to clean the thing up as best they could, and even flipped it over so the cleaner side is on top. The toilet and shower still work: the shower even has hot water. Makeshift shelves have been attached to one of the walls.]

[Look, she's already digging things out of her pack. This is how you social, right?]

Not all of us are Graham. He's just a nut job, in general.

[She goes back to unpacking her backpack with sharp, irritated movements. She doesn't know what to do about any of this. She doesn't like seeing Doctor House like this (or the others, but mostly Doctor House), but she has never known how to make him behave less erratically.]

If I were hallucinating something, that would be interesting. I'd share that it's happening. I'm not sharing because it's not happening. And that's boring.

[Doctor House arguing with her is better, in a way. She likes it better, at least, than Doctor House withdrawing. Ecks keeps unpacking her bag--out comes a bottle of mocha syrup, followed by a bottle of rum. She sets each down without particular thought among the jar of thumbtacks, ball of yarn, and other odds and ends that have already made their appearances.]

[He is that good.
And also lying through his teeth.]

[She smiles so he'll know that her ill opinion of his entire species is a joke.]

How do you know when you're hallucinating?

[This is a test, Ecks. His tone says as much.]

I will take note of that now. That is data. It is in my notes.

If you think that I have children you are hallucinating and I am right and you are wrong and so is your face.

Has anyone ever told you you're metaphysically exhausting? And your face is spiders.
