[ He's mad. When he hears those sounds, his heart breaks and he gets angry. He keeps himself steady. Keeps himself from rushing the wall to punch it until his knuckles are bruised and bloodied. After this, he tells himself. After he's done talking to Jim. ]

eve is looking for you guys. as soon as she knows, we're coming to save you.

I know you will.

[ Jim doesn't want to say it, but - he can't let Zell see another video like the one he'd just showed. There's no telling what else might be hiding in his memories. ]

I think I should go.

[ The next video is less horrific, and out of order - it's just Jim trying to make it to his feet so he can find Zack in the cell block. He's struggling, and falling, but eventually he makes it. ]

[ He traces the edges of the tablet. He's split between wanting to hang on as long as possible, as well as letting Jim rest. He knows in his place, he wouldn't want Jim to see that kind of stuff. ]

We should go to the inn after this.

[ He needs to risk one more. ]

When you catch me we can go wherever you'd like.

[ And the last video is, maybe, something of a comfort: it's just Jim curled up sleeping, or trying to, at some point during the day. ]

[ It's almost not fair that he says that. He hugs the tablet, already feeling the tears coming as emotions flood him. Pulling it back to send hopefully the last message before they can save them. ]

[ He watches the tablet to see if there's another response, before going to work out his anger against the poor wall. ]
