No...no, not now. Um, we can't really remember when the...chains were taken off.

[She struggles with the word "chains". It's still hard for her to reconcile having been chained up in the first place.]

I think it's going to be...oh, I don't know...

[She can't even get herself to say that she thinks it's going to be okay. Her voice breaks.

America gets a video of her arm being pulled and pulled until it snaps.]

[There's a pause before he answers, because he's so upset seeing that video that he has to punch the wall until his knuckles bleed before he feels like he's up to replying.]

Okay, you're not chained up, that's good. There's probably not like a super convenient tunnel out or something... But we can figure it out! We can! [America wields optimism like a weapon when he has to.] And you've got England with you, so you're not on your own. [Not that he wants England down there, or Ginger, or anyone.] He--uh, he knows how to set a bone, if that still needs--yeah.

[He is really trying not to think about what might have been done to England.]

[Poor America has it so rough. It's not exactly at the forefront of her mind, but Ginger is at least aware that this has to make him feel so powerless. Still, she's glad he isn't here. She wouldn't want him to get hurt.]

It's been put in a split. It's not, like...I mean, um, our injuries were only treated to a certain extent but...it could be worse.

[Ginger lets out a shaken breath. The video America gets is a bit tamer, maybe bittersweet, but at least it isn't violent. England pulls off his shirt, a painstaking process due to his own injuries, and hands it to Ginger to at least partially cover herself.]

[It doesn't make him feel good, but it makes him feel better. They can watch out for each other, at least. England's taking care of Ginger as best he can. But Christ, England looks awful.]

Once you're out of there me and England can fix everything up better.
