[Enoch attaches a screenshot of a conversation with @ADMIN.
It's been a very hard couple of days. He's vaguely hoarse, but doing his best to keep his voice even. He's lost his best friend, after all, and doesn't know yet whether he'll be back. On top of this, however...]
I suppose it's late, and some of you may be asleep, but... The revivals have their own limited resources as well. One day, we might not be able to return at all, even if we manage to do something about the failing nanomachines. I suppose-
...It needed to be said. We need to be aware of as much as possible.
[A long, tired pause. He seems to have drifted off for a moment into his own mind, but suddenly remembers he's still recording.]
We need all the luck we can find or make, everyone. I hope...I hope this helps us somehow.

@Spoiler; audio
Right now the people in the morgues are only comatose. There's no guarantee they'll stay that way.
audio
But no, has he ever heard of these supplies before?]
We knew- we knew they weren't entirely dead. I don't recall- perhaps it was simply understood, but I don't recall hearing of these supplies in any certain terms, or where they stood as a priority.
...Am I wrong?
audio
I may have just... assumed. It seemed obvious? If they're resuscitating patients, that takes supplies. Equipment and power, at least, and medication to keep them from deteriorating.
audio
I see, I'm- sorry for stating the obvious, then. But at least now, now we know, for those of us from...different situations, who might not immediately see it the way you do. We know what she'll take for their resources first, and we have an approximation of where we stand.
[He's saying it for his own benefit. It kind of shows.]
audio
[ She probably needs to apologize. She's not totally sure. ]
Even the people who do know the science, they probably need the reminder. Of course, then we have people like House, who don't care. [ Do you think he can feel the judgment from wherever he is right now ]
audio
I hope he will, given he may kill us all if he doesn't.
[Hopefully he cares about the prescriptions being the first to go here, if nothing else.]

Enoch....
Are you okay?
[Said in the gently scolding tone of a mother who's noticed her child is still awake.]
voice
...He hasn't returned yet. I know that- another day or two could pass without it being suspect.
[But he can't keep himself from worrying. How can he sleep when Beckett may never wake?
...Never mind that he's hardly been able to sleep at all.]
no subject
Get some sleep.
no subject
[He's not sure what else he can say that doesn't sound inadequate.]
no subject
A result of MN poisoning?

[While that's a good sign, considering he can give people with compatible blood some relief from their symptoms, it does mean that all his issues are really his...]

[No, that is not what he wanted anyone to get from this. But he realizes that was...well, not a very helpful denial.]
This won't stop anything. It will ensure we die, and suffer without mitigation in the process, but-...we would not be the first session to fail. Countless people have come before us, and run out of time. The supplies must replenish themselves with no one to use them.
audio
[Look, he's a simple man, he likes simple solutions.]
What if we stop the system for all time? If we deplete it on purpose? Make sure there are not more sessions?
audio
[He's so tired. Of all of it. And the prospect of this, dubiously helpful as it is, being used for active harm...it's just too much.]
audio
I am not killing anyone. But this is something we should not ignore. And not being able to revive could be the way out. Or give the next session a way to break the system.
audio
[Desperate, he turns to the one related thing he can recall:]
Someone- who else recalls Eve saying the supplies regenerate over time? I know she said it, I just can't recall when anymore. After we lost the emergency response, I know. She must have said it to Clayton. Don't let this be- be used for harm!
[His actions have unintentionally hurt people too often. The burden is too much to bear now. So this, he can't let this happen.]

[Fuck.]
OK BUT HOW MUCH IS THAT QUANTIFIABLY? LIKE ARE WE LOOKING AT LIKE A COUPLE HUNDRED REVIVALS OR A COUPLE DOZEN?
AND I GUESS THAT EXPLAINS WHY SOME PEOPLE COME BACK AFTER FUCKING FOREVER. MAYBE? THE WHOLE SYSTEM IS FALLING APART ANYWAY, SO BASICALLY WE'RE ALL SCREWED.
text
[Considering Eve doesn't seem bothered about things like living conditions, that she is bothered here must mean something.]
text
LIKE OK I'M WILLING TO CONCEDE THAT PROBABLY DIFFERENT DEATHS REQUIRE VARIABLE RESOURCES FOR WHATEVER? BUT SHE'S A GODDAMN AI, CALCULATING STATISTICAL VARIANCE SHOULD BE A CINCH! RIGHT?
AND JUST. UGH. I ALREADY DON'T LIKE THIS. THERE'S NO ANSWER THAT'S ABOUT TO BE GOOD WITH HOW THINGS ARE GOING, BUT CONFIRMATION EITHER WAY? SURE, SIGN ME UP.
text
[He's from before pop culture touched these ideas. Hell, before culture did. He's not going to call a human mind uploaded into a computer an "AI" because those two ideas don't mesh for him. Both of those ideas are new, even.]
text
NOT WHAT I MEANT, BUT SURE! LET'S GET INTO AN ARGUMENT ABOUT PERSONHOOD WHEN I DON'T GIVE A FUCK.
OR MAYBE, AND HERE'S A WILD THOUGHT, NO?? FUCK NO, THAT'S STUPID AND A WASTE OF TIME. I DON'T CARE HOW MUCH OF A PERSON SHE IS OR ISN'T, SHE'S UNRELIABLE AS FUCK AND THAT'S WHAT I'M OBJECTING TO.
AND THAT THING ABOUT HER BEING AN AI, YOU DON'T DESERVE THIS CLARIFICATION WITH HOW BULGE-NUMBINGLY STUPID YOU ARE, BUT I MEANT IT AS A GENERAL GODDAMN STATEMENT ABOUT, WHAT, PROCESSING POWER?? SOFTWARE FUNCTIONALITY?? LIKE DOESN'T IT FOLLOW THAT SHE CAN CALCULATE SHIT IN THE BLINK OF A GLANCE NUGGET OR IS THAT LEGITIMATELY BEYOND HER CAPABILITIES HERE.
LIKE UH
SHIT, WHERE'S @C.CHUN? CATHERINE, GET THE FUCK IN HERE AND CLEAR THIS UP, YOU KNOW THIS SHIT BETTER THAN I DO.
