[And here they go again. Flynn is slower now that he took some hits but also more vigilat. He won't underestimate your dirty fighting again, Squalo!

Still. Something tells him this is going to be a long and painful day.]

[ Damn it! To his credit, Squalo manages to mostly play by the rulebook, as much as it seems to cause him nearly physical pain. He will, of course, be reluctant to stop as well, so it will take some convincing. ]

[ Eventually they'll both probably nearly pass out or something. ]

[He is so sore. He is so tired. He is so exasperated from all the "mostly" exceptions of playing by the rule book.

But Flynn can't deny that this has also been incredibly cathartic and a much needed release from a lot of pent-up emotion. Sparring with Squalo made him realize just how much he missed his regular training sessions with Excalibur. Doubly so when you kept collecting trauma, anger and sadness like they did on a daily basis.]

I... yeah. Yeah, we should. I'm in.

[For now he'll just curl up on his sleeping-bag for a much needed rest. He's so exhausted he can't even bring himself to care if it is safe to sleep with the other nearby. Tonight he will sleep deeply, maybe even nightmare-free for once.]

[ Maybe he should make an actual rule book. On the bright side, at least it kept him on his toes, right? It's always a better fight when you don't know what to expect. ]

[ Squalo makes a vague contented sound now that he's finally (hopefully) secured some exercise for the future, and decides to "take the first shift", not that there's probably any need for it, but he's always been a little paranoid. ]

[ He'll drift off eventually, though he stays half-alert just in case someone or something else tries to break in on them. ]
