I am funny, thank you very much. And good luck on the weapons! I'd say you could find some scissors, or somethin' else sharp. That's a bit easier than a knife, it seems like! There's no guns here. Me'n a few other guys're tryin' to pull some together, though! It's tricky stuff.

I know you are, I was attempting to express my appreciation of your pun. [ She's making a note of this. If she ever needs a laugh, she'll look for him first. ] A sense of humor is an asset around here, or so it would seem.

Someone else mentioned the idea of using scissors to me. In the absence of an actual weapon, I think scissors will do the job admirably well.

[ She sounds more interested now that Magenta's mentioned guns. ]

How exactly are you planning to do that?

cw for eye squick

Scissors do just fine, from what I've heard! They're sharp 'nough to get an eye, and that's really what matters. Nobody 'round here wears glasses, so you'll do great with havin' anythin' remotely sharp. Careful, though, 'cause the monsters can't be stabbed.

Well, we were discussin' havin' some kind'a rubber band system or a system with springs, but I really don't think either would work good enough. We need to make some gunpowder, in my opinion!

Well, then, I'll just have to find something else that will work on the monsters, because the last thing I plan on doing is becoming dinner for one of them.

Can't be that hard, can it? It was already invented once. What's stopping us from reinventing it?
