[ Oh god. Rocket's already rolling his eyes when he first watches this video — WHY ARE SO MANY PEOPLE HERE SO DAMN FRIENDLY?!? From what he's read, it should have grounded them all up to dust by now. Except it hasn't, so now he has to deal with this amount of stupid cheery helpfulness.

But then the man keeps talking, mentions Peter, and then basically says that Rocket's the best engineer in the world — shhh, that's what Rocket heard — and he lifts his paw up to record a response. ]

Yeah, that's right. [ There's a slight hint of wariness in his voice, but he's listening. ] Though from what I've read, this place doesn't seem to have much of anything.

[ It's a coping mechanism, one that Gabriel never thought he'd be caught using. But time with Al has seriously pointed out the benefits of staying optimistic. With Gabriel, it's not exactly real- but it's so far been better than falling into paranoia had been.

He smiles as soon as Rocket confirms what he thought. ]

It sure doesn't. I've been collecting little bits of things since I got here for building, though. If you hit a point where you're looking for anything in particular, let me know and I'll keep an eye out. I like building things too, but I'm more on the mechanical side of construction- and all of this is future tech. You might manage better with it.
