You Twolegs have a penchant for terms that give me no hope of guessing what you're talking about... I don't know what a Database is, or a tablet, or- what you mean by 'running with voice commands'. Maybe I know the concept but not the words, but learning all of these new words is frustrating.
[Her tail is slowly dusting the floor behind her with annoyed sweeps.]

[ He'd half-thought that might be a problem. ]
A tablet is what you're using to talk to me right now. The thing that's making noise and showing my picture. It's meant to let us communicate, but we can do a lot with it. You can get it to do different things by talking at it. You say 'tablet' and then what you want it to do, and it'll figure out a way to do it.
A database- well, that doesn't matter so much. It's basically a list of people and information on what skills they use. You can look at it if you need help with something specific and use the contacts listed there. You can reach anyone in the network by using their network name- that's the word that's next to them when they start talking to you. Mine is 'godsend'.
There's probably a lot of terms you're going to have to get used to, but you can always ask me and I'll try to help.
[ Going against stereotype, he actually likes animals. ]

[She doesn't seem bashful about the name she chose. Still.. knowing how to use this thing only raises questions about what she's been missing while she paws around aimlessly on it. What should she even ask it for?
She takes a moment to glance through the database again.]
...Alright, let me think. I can fit into tight spaces, I can speak to other cats - though I don't think that's very useful here - and I'm well-trained with combat. [She hesitates.] I was a leader for many moons, but I don't know how my leadership skills will translate for Twolegs.

[ He hadn't been expecting her to list off things, so he's really pleased as she continues. ]
Hey, you never know. Get your bearings here- unfortunately, it's going to be even tougher for you than most people- and then maybe see where we might need some leadership help. There's a lot of people here that are independently-minded, but it does help a lot when we're properly organized.
I'll put all that down. Thank you. We never know what languages we're going to need, and I've come across a couple of- well, they're kind of ghost cats, in my time here. If they show up again, you might have a better idea of what's going on.

[Maybe not, maybe they're something different.. but if StarClan's power reaches all the way out here, she'd feel a lot better.]
If they are, I'll definitely want to talk to them the next time you see them. Please tell me if you do.

Sure thing. Hopefully you'll be able to talk with them, or at least know what they're saying. The one I remember the best was in a house just north of the chapel- I stayed with it all night. In the morning, I found a can of tuna. That was awhile ago, though.

A can is a metal cylinder that seals away its contents from the outside world. That way the food inside lasts longer. In this case, the food was tuna, which is a type of fish. It's hard to find that much meat around here, all by itself, so I was pretty happy with it that day.
