There I was! The brightest and most beautiful intern that the Elizabeth Arkham Asylum for the Criminally Insane had ever seen. A young doctor who had been the top of her class. A fresh mind who was there to study and aid the often-overlooked members of our society.

When there he was! The asylum's most dangerous criminal mastermind. A clown known only as the Joker. He disturbed me on a level that no other inmate ever had, he fascinated me with his unique pathology, he... well, bosoms heaved and shirts came off. You know the drill.

It was a love to rival Romeo and Juliet's or Sid and Nancy's! A love that was stronger than their madhouse walls. I released him, I joined him, I became... Harley Quinn! Mistress of Mirth and Mayhem. Girlfriend, henchwoman, and comedienne extraordinaire!

We've had our ups and downs like any other couple, and they said we wouldn't last, but hey. Now we're livin' together in a snowglobe with a hyena and a big pink guy so who's crazy now?
