you get more supplies by trading for supplies or by looking for them in the houses
there are more good things in the houses on the northwest side of town than in other places
except downtown is also good for finding things but it is distant from most important things and it is the opposite end of the spiral from the center

you should look for fake animals and knives
if you find fake animals and knives I will trade things to you for them

Yes, I know what condoms are used for. I was mostly marveling at the fact that here, where things appear very bleak, apparently people still find the time for carnal pleasures.

First off, a weapon, if you can find one. Second, some soap or a hairbrush if you manage to spot either of those.

[ She can do without the soap and hairbrush. The weapon is something she'd rather not go without. Priorities and all. ]
