[network] @thebigc; text - Day 283
[ It isn't every day that a person comes back from the dead, at least not from Wilson's perspective. He was told this happens here, but there's a massive difference between having it explained to you that people return after death and experiencing it.
He wants nothing more than to hide himself away for a few days until he gets his head back on straight, but he doesn't have the luxury of doing that. Unfortunately. Ever since waking up, he's had difficulty not feeling like he's being watched. He's been jumping at shadows a lot more than he normally does, and dealing with a constant need to watch his back is making him not want to turn his attention to the tablet. But, he needs to know what's happened, where specific people are, and what he's missed. So with that in mind, he reluctantly takes to the network.
Text seems to be the easiest option here, for more than one reason, the first being that he can't hear. ]
Hey. It's Wilson. Dr. James Wilson, if any of us haven't met yet.
[ This place seems to have new arrivals show up fairly often, and he's not quite certain how long it's been since the last group came in. ]
I'm going to venture a guess and say that I've missed a few things.
[ He's glanced over his tablet, looking things over for the past several days, and it's all enough to make his head spin. ]
Is everyone all right? I- All right, I don't really know how to process the whole die and revive thing that happens here, so I'm sorry about that.
It's different when you're on the receiving end of it, and not just hearing an explanation about how it works. But I don't want to talk about me right now. How is everyone? How are you all holding up?
Has anyone made any new discoveries or come across anything interesting?
[ If he can steer conversations away from talking about himself, then great. If not, well, it's expected, even if it's not what he wants to talk about right now. ]

Don't have to be so blatant about the self-sacrifice.

[ It's become second nature to him so he doesn't always recognize when he's doing it. ]

@PetertheGreat, audio/text
It's weirdly a struggle to be able to play a song again, he's realizing he's gotten strangely protective and greedy of them, even more so than usual. Between that and suspecting that he really might be losing the ability to tell right from wrong, and the weird feeling that he too was being watched, Peter's certain he's got done serious issues that are getting worse.
Annnnnnd everyone was using text, which meant...Wilson probably couldn't hear. Damn it.]
Purple Rain by Prince. Listen to it later if you can.
@thebigc, text
All right. Thanks.
[ There's a second's pause, during which time Wilson wrestles with ending the conversation there or not. ]
How are you doing?
[ Because this can't be any easier for him. ]
Perma-text
[Maybe that would make him feel better? He's surprised that's the first thing he asked. Honestly, he expected to get cussed out.]

if nobody got to mentioning it its day 283
i found an sd card with a clip of russian people finding a different mystery sd card but go figure what their deal is
and house came back before you but hes lost all his memories post age 11 for the time being so
can i ask what happened
perma-text, private. CW: stabbing
That's an interesting thing to find. I'm guessing it's more interesting than useful, though.
That explains what I was reading earlier. It's hard to wrap my mind around House being that young. I know that sounds ridiculous. Of course he was that age once, but it's different seeing him that way.
It was during the event when everyone was losing control of themselves in some way. I couldn't talk in complete sentences, but something was going on with- With Peter.
He walked into the building we were in with a pair of rusty scissors, and he wasn't planning on cutting up paper or anything.
[ Stabbing people, yes. Cutting paper, no. ]

@Enoch, text (sorry for how incredibly late this is, was waiting on anomaly results)
Try not to travel in the maintenance tunnels alone until your hearing has returned. Anomalies can certainly appear in them.
[He's about to type "are you all right?" but he doesn't want to talk about what happened to him. No - he'll honor that. It's his first death and, Enoch hopes, his only one.]
text;
[ Relatively speaking, of course. His hearing might come back, but now he's got one more experience of being murdered to deal with than when he started. Still, he appreciates Enoch's warning. He doesn't want to die again so soon. ]
