Hey. You still up for me making that delivery? I got my sprite body back and everything, so I can head your way pretty easy if you're in the area.

[He lacks the problem Billy has, but a tired, even tone colors his words still. He needs anything else to focus on than what happened.]

[Davesprite lets out an audible breath of relief, and it takes him a second to say more. Making plans to meet up in person with someone again is just so ridiculously normal. He doesn't know how to feel about it yet. It feels fake.]

No problem, man. I'll keep in touch with where I'm headed. Coordinate with the map and everything.

You... Everything's all healed back to normal, right?

[ Which isn't quite the same thing, but Billy's trying hard not to freak out about his new scars. He'll fix them as soon as he's out of here, nobody back home has to see them and worry about them. It's fine. ]

Maybe Andromeda wanted to make it easy on em. Dunno. I walked back along the tunnels once she told me, like that was all I needed to learn my balance again, but after that light...

[He trails off briefly.]

I just woke up in the funeral home again, back to normal. Grabbed my things while I still could and then got the boot out the door.

I can't make sense of what her voice could've been doing to us to make it work like that. Solved your balance issues, let me walk on smashed feet...

I guess she can speed up whatever happens when we come back to life.

I don't think it was actually her voice doing the thing, but something with the nanomachines. She was this super-advanced AI, you know? There are clips where she talks about wanting to fix things, and Winter has told us that if she's anywhere, it's probably at the center of town... and all these things keep adding up that tell me she has to have some part in it all. She keeps helping us with one thing after another.

I'm still not sure I'm convinced this all comes down to a one hundred percent scientific explanation, but at this point we don't really know enough to say either way.

All we can do is keep pressing forward.

[He sighs, the kind built out of long mental and emotional exhaustion.]
