[ The tiny hospital gown also makes it difficult to spot him. It's not what you'd expect from a black cat. Add to that Davesprite's odd appearance and it's no wonder they took a while to spot each other. ]

I do not know. I woke only a short time ago.

[He could say more on that point, but now that he's actually looking at him more closely, he has to wonder.]

Is... is that a hospital gown?

[ But yeah, probably. What is it with these people and cat clothes? ]

[He huffs a laugh. It's so ridiculous, especially after last night, that it feels downright unreal for a moment. Like the universe is playing a joke on him.]

Dude, you go around naked every other day. Cats don't need hospital gowns. You don't need anything unless you're too cold without it.

I am of the same opinion.

[ He scratches at the thing with a back leg, but can't manage to untie it. ]

[The sight of that gets actual snickering out of him, though he tries to stifle it. Cat in a hospital gown, what's the point? Why even imprison him? But that line of wondering only draws him back to the reality of the situation. He's glad they're all alive, but when reviving means being here in time for this...]

[He breathes in, sighs.]

I wish you didn't have to come back just for this. I wish we had missed all this.

[He may not know what's going to happen, but his guesses already lie around the cult. Who else has modified the industrial buildings so extensively? All evidence says they don't treat their victims well.]

[ He keeps scratching at it for another thirty seconds or so, hoping he'll catch the knot with a claw. ]

But we are alive now, and we must do our best to stay this way.

[Davesprite watches the whole struggle. He'd take it off him if he could just get over there.]

Trust me, Meow Mix, I'm not looking to die again. I just hope this ends as soon as possible.

Is that really that great if it means we're all here?

[Davesprite doesn't have anything to say to that. He turns his attention aside from the Cat. He needs to practice walking, talk to people, something. There will be enough time to dread what's coming in the gaps.]
