It's the same for me. [England frowns.] I've got plenty of things I'd hate to lose, and yet it's like they never mattered in the first place.

[Those magazine spreads of his land, the gifts America and Ginger have made for him, the photo of the Allies...but he can't bring himself to be angry that he can't find them.]

Just these symbols, but that's not very useful without any of those special applications. All it tells us now is that this place was probably a stronghold of the cult. That would explain the accommodations.

It's a lot nicer than the other place I found. None of the beds have manacles.

[ That and the food makes it five star material. ]

This might be a building we couldn't get into before.

Yeah. This might be the nicest place I've seen in this entire bloody town. [Except maybe the supermarket, but there are no showers and you can't stay overnight there. England can't help but chuckle a little, wry but less bitter than he'd normally be.] If this has all been inside the entire time, no wonder we were locked out. No one would ever leave.

[The irony of this statement is not lost on him, considering the strange alterations that have been made to their desires to escape.]

Or they would find a way to ruin it. [ House immediately comes to mind. He glances to the ceiling as he recalls the videos sent by Brian. The ] Someone may still be here on a different floor. [ Pointing up. The elevator is right there, but he doesn't really want to press the button. ]

[England can't help but snort a little, his thoughts leading him to a similar place in regards to House.

His gaze follows Vanitas' hand to the elevator.] That's what I was thinking. This is a large building, and there are only a few of us on this particular floor. It would be strange if we were the only group experiencing something like this.

Could even be someone who was traveling with you.

[The thought of Ginger being moved around all willy-nilly without England and America does make England a bit nervous, despite his dampened suspicion, but he doesn't show it.] That's possible. One of the people I was travelling with is on this floor.
