Yeah-- yeah, I caught that! But thanks for weighing in. [ Where was that guy at, anyway-- there. With a little effort, he manages to get a clear view of Castiel, and Vasquez shoots him a deadpan stare. ] Got anything else to add, while we're at it? Maybe something insightful about the bars.

Their construction is poor, but thorough enough that I cannot move or break them. I imagine they were made by someone with limited experience in metalworking, but plenty of resources and time.

[ Okay. Okay, he's calm, he can deal with this. Vasquez pinches the bridge of his nose, biting his tongue for a solid five seconds in an effort to keep himself from snapping too much. They were all stuck here together, and making things worse by bickering wasn't going to earn him any favors. That didn't make it any less tempting, though. ]
Thank you, Captain Obvious. Dunno what I'd do without your guidance. [ He lets his hand fall with a huff, still looking just as displeased as ever. ] If you really wanna be helpful, maybe you can tell me how long you've been up. I've got more questions about that than I do this place's structural integrity.

[ Even if the info wasn't what he was wanting to hear. He curses under his breath again, folding his arms over his chest. ]
Do we have a list of names yet? Maybe there's-- a pattern or whatever, who knows. There's gotta be some sense to this, right?
[ He really, really doesn't look confident in that assumption. ]

[ Again, he leans out of his cell as far as he can and cranes his neck to look up and down the hall. ]
House, Royce, Gabriel, Mycroft Holmes, Another Rhys, [ Castiel here makes a series of otherwordly noises ], Davesprite, and Stephen Strange. There are some others here I don't know. At least three of them, I think, but it's hard to tell from here.

[ Brand new discomfort aside, Vasquez at least has the good sense to be a little more polite now that Castiel's giving him things that are less obvious and more useful. They're still a long way from getting out of here, wherever...here even was, but getting together what they knew for sure was a step in the right direction, he figures. ]
Okay, so-- what do we have in common from there? I think most people on that list have wound up on the obits while they've been here, but I dunno if that counts for shit.

[ His memories of the past few days are more than a little bit fuzzy, and he's having a hard time reaching Jimmy for comment at the moment. ]
It's not lost lights, either. There are people who did and people who did not retain theirs both.

[ What else is there? He's wracking his brain for any other possibilities, although what he comes up with isn't exactly helpful. Best guesses don't count for much when all you can think of is how much of a sausagefest it is in here. ]
Where were you at before you woke up here? Maybe it's something to do with location. [ He doubts it-- if it did, that would mean that there were way more people in Downtown than he knew. ] Were we close to-- I dunno, somewhere they didn't want us to be?

I took part in House's experiment with the tablets, though, and encountered one of the cloaked figures. Did you, as well? I wasn't keeping track of everyone who participated.

[ They're trying to beat the clock, but as far as he can tell, they're not getting much of anywhere. ]
Not me. Saw what happened, though-- can't say I was all that broken up about not getting the participation points there. [ He'd been working on a potential second round, all the same. ] Are we overthinking it? 'Cause-- this could just be picking people out of a hat, more or less. Or for entertainment value.

But my experience applies to... very little here, I'm finding.
