[network] @Technicalities; Experiment; DAY 3: 10AM [open]
[His second morning here hasn't gone well. It shows from the bags under his eyes as the video feed starts for his network post. He's exhausted from his searching yesterday -- even if he didn't go very far. The doors locking last night put him ill at ease, and he had stayed up late, just listening for any signs of life outside all night.
This is Tadashi Hamada.
[His voice is scratchy from grogginess and he presses a hand over his eyes to try to relieve the burning that comes from not having enough sleep.
And this is day two for me. 10AM, if the clock is working. Looking at the posts made this morning, I'm going to assume I'm not the only one who received an injection. Did anyone see a face--notice anything misplaced or different from when you went to sleep until when you woke up?
[Off screen, there's a crunching sound and Tadashi glances down and to the right, reaching out a hand toward where the sound is coming from. Mochi, for one, is able to just enjoy the breakfast Tadashi found him. Tadashi actually feels a little bad for taking the cat food, but he assumes if anyone actually lived in the house, he can pay them back once he gets out of this mess.
He focuses on the screen again, opens his mouth like he's about to saying something else, then seems to decide against it. He's not sure who to trust, but this at least is a start -- he's reaching out and trying to get a feel for what's happening.
After another hesitation, he cuts the feed.]

There's always the possibility that none of us are anywhere near each other, but at least a few people have run into one another, so we can hope this place isn't too huge.
[He's going to hold onto enough optimism for everyone if he has to. The moment he stops, Tadashi is afraid he'll start wondering again about the fire at the showcase and how everyone is doing and if the professor is okay. He shudders, then pushes that out of his mind as he reaches the shelter and shoves the door open. Once he's got it closed again, he sighs and slides down to sit against it, shrugging off his shoulder strap. At least out of the wind it's moderately warmer. Not much. But enough.]
I'm right there with you on that one. I'm from NorCal. We don't get a lot of sub-freezing temperatures on the bay. Definitely not this much empty landscape.

The things he'd do for an unlocked door at 3AM.
Like hell he's going to risk finding one, though. Batman didn't exactly condone stupid of that particular level.] Guess you're right. It'd help both sides of this experiment if the lab wasn't the size of the Louisiana Purchase.
[He waits- and then he's a little surprised. Tadashi hadn't even bothered to glance around for [insert possibly relative danger here] before settling down. Suppose that's what being normal got you- more time resting.] No kidding? [Some sort of mish-mash of San Francisco and some other major city.] I've visited NorCal once or twice. Loved the beaches there. It's just a lot friendlier than the east coast.

I never had a lot of time for beach trips. That's the thing when you live near a beach, though. You go less often than the tourists.
[There was just always something that needed his attention at school or at home. Aunt Cass would need help on the busy nights or a project would be due... Baymax's coding would have gone awry again, or Fred would be pumped about a food drive that needed an extra hand. Always one more thing to do...]
Which part of the east coast are you from?
