262: This was probably a single-story office building in the past, but at some point it seems to have been converted into a rough-looking infirmary. There are a few rod-iron beds in several offices, all of which have mattresses but lack bed sheets, while an area that probably once held cubicles now holds a couple of heavy metal tables. The tables are clean, but the carpeted floor beneath them is stained with blood.

[Ecks has never been good at knowing when other people are telling the truth, and she knows that a pinkie swear is only words if the person is already a liar. But Kunsel does not seem like he is probably a liar, and Zell will be there besides. She considers him carefully in return, then leans forward to hook her pinkie with his.]

I pinkie swear that I will not hurt you or take any of your things.

[Likewise, Kunsel knows that just because Ecks has made a promise here, that doesn't necessarily mean he should trust her completely. Still, from what he knows of her, he thinks this will be enough to forego standing watch.

That, and Zell's general good opinion of her.

So he holds her pinkie long enough to cement his solemnity, then lets go and nods his head in the direction of the others.]

Alright. Feel free to join us whenever you're ready. I think the others are almost done setting up.

[Ecks smiles again, stretching her mouth into that unnatural rictus of before for a brief moment as she nods, then lets her face relax again.]

I will bring all my fake animals with me. They are soft and good for sleeping.

[It'll just take her a couple minutes to pack her other things back into her bag and bring the animals to where they are sleeping.]

[Stuffed animals also provide a certain amount of warmth, which none of them will complain about.]

That sounds perfect. We've got a quilt, too, and a towel and some things we use as blankets.

[Which means overall it sounds like they'll be sleeping relatively warm and comfortable tonight.]
