[network] @MarbleHornets; morning 20 [open]
[Here's a summary of the last ten or so hours of Jay's life: he woke up locked inside a spooky cold morgue in the middle of the night, suffering from a terrible headache and sensitivity to light that made him want to curl up in the shadows. Then, just as he finally managed to fall asleep, he woke up to a mystery injection with no warning. Then, upon inspecting the tablet he found on him, he discovered he'd recently posted a video on the local network despite having no memory of doing so. A video that made it look a lot like he'd died.
Actually, he seems to be missing at least several weeks' worth of memories. Again.
And just to top everything off, he has no tapes for his camera.
Everything really sucks.
He hadn't planned on making any more posts until he had a better grasp on the situation, but after a skim of earlier posts he feels the need to ask a question.]
Apparently a couple of people here have lost their memories and then gotten them back. Is that a common thing? If there's anyone else who's experienced something like that, please tell me. Thank you.

text;
can't remember the name of the guy who told me it happened to him but I could look into it and get back to you.
[ Not sure how much it would help, but... The idea of losing memories that matter a hella lot to him... He can understand wanting all the help he could get getting those ones back at least. Though they say you can't miss what you don't have. Or well. Don't remember having would perhaps be the more appropriate phrasing in this case. ]

Apparently it happens to people who've died.
[Which he's not buying for a second. He might have woken up in a morgue, but he can't possibly have come back from the dead, right? That would be ridiculous.]
Do you know anything about that?

All the same, it takes him a moment to get back to 'MarbleHornets'. He had to do some backlogging and that's not typically his thing. ]
the guy's name's Nocturne on here. I don't know how much more he could tell you about it but there you have it. [ But as far as knowing anything else... ]
otherwise from what I've heard there's been a few people who got trapped outside. I know it sounds pretty crazy to think anyone would come back from the dead. but I also know there's no way you could survive out in weather like that.
[ Unless it wasn't the same person coming back. Unless... But the thought alone feels morbid and cruel. And he would rather that not be the case. ]
if your place is anything like mine the dead don't usually come back. who knows what kind of price it comes with? [ Memories might only be scratching the surface. ]

[Even if the guy doesn't have anything useful to tell, it's still something worth looking into.]
And yes I'm pretty sure returning from the dead is not actually something that can happen. Since they can give us these mystery injections and who knows what else, maybe making us think they can resurrect people is a part of that.
[He's not sure which idea is more disturbing, that people are actually getting brough back or that there's an elaborate enough deception going on that it looks like they are.]

maybe it is. I can't say I've witnessed anyone dying here personally. think there was that one man who left a video. someone dragged him off though at some point. [ ...Now that he thinks about it, maybe that could have been a ploy. Maybe... Or maybe it was more complicated than that. Ugh. He doesn't know. ]
you gotta wonder why they keep giving us those. those injections.

[Frustratingly vague, even. It looks like he died, but also leaves the possibility that he didn't.]
The only injection I remember is the one this morning. Have there been a lot of them before?

I wasn't paying much attention to the tablets. [ He'll... just leave it at that. No need to share the thought of potential morbid curiosity. And... irk. This isn't any better turf. It takes him a moment to add on: ]
but as far as injections go that's the second one I've had. I think there was another before that too. so that makes at least three. still trying to figure out what the hell's going on with that.

And no one's got any idea what they do? Or who's administering them or why? It's all still a total mystery to everyone?

far as I know. every time I haven't been able to move. then it wears off. but I'm starting to wonder if it has anything to do with what else that's been cropping up.
[ Those things weren't around before, but suddenly, they're popping out everywhere.
Like daisies! As much as he doesn't like to think about this, he has to if they're going to find answers. Begrudgingly, he admits: ]it feels like we're in some kind of experiment.
