[Gregory House. Again. America's already wound up from the situation surrounding him and Alfie before, considering his tense conversation with England. And, well, America isn't known for having the greatest emotional self-control. He slams his fist into the nearest wall hard enough his knuckles sting and the skin breaks open along the little lines of too-dry skin.]

[England is waiting for the obituary to go up, hoping not to see Alfie's name. So it doesn't take him long to figure out what's wrong when America suddenly has a violent reaction, but he wishes America would do something less self-destructive when he's upset.

Boy, is he a hypocrite. Oh well.

Despite the discomfort still lingering between them, England approaches America, albeit cautiously. He waits for any sign of reception before he'll sit down, though.]

[America's eyes dart to England immediately. He doesn't say anything, but he does shift to face the other nation, waiting for him to say something. He doesn't seem upset with England, at least, so much as upset in general.]

[He's not sure if America will even want comfort from him right now, but no one else will understand what America is feeling. Despite their fight, or perhaps even because of it, England is keenly aware of what must be roiling in America's chest in this moment.

He's quiet as he settles next to America, his face heavy with sympathy and weariness. He reaches for the hand that America hit the wall with.]

Clear rubble with anything long and sturdy, if you can. Wood boards, metal poles, whatever you can find. It's safer than getting close to an unstable pile to do it with your hands.

[ She prays to God that Jason didn't find the Joker and get killed for his trouble, but she can't really believe he would make that kind of mistake. He's too good.

Which means an anomaly got him. And she hasn't heard from him, so if he's coming back he hasn't gotten there yet. Another one added to the pile. It makes her sad, yes, but to a greater extent it makes her furious.

She lets out a barely restrained roar and kicks at the walls until her ankles hurt. ]
