@jwatson; text; Morning 206 (pre-lockdown end)
This is Dr. Watson. I've woken up in the police station and don't appear to have a death price at the moment. Not entirely sure what to make of that. I know there have been a few isolated incidences of that happening.
[Such as they are. This is all a dream, but he'll stick to the dream logic for the moment while communicating with the broader network.]
If anyone's in need of medical assistance in the area, please let me know. I'll be heading north and east in the next few days.
[He looks up at Mary.]
Anything else to add?
[She shakes her head, looking thoroughly upset.
You should have talked to Sherlock.]
I'm sorry for any inconvenience, and yes, I've already spoken with Sherlock. Thank you.

He's not real.
[He's real enough.
He'd promised Bucky he wouldn't talk to this man again, but does it even really matter anymore? Probably not. It's not as though Pierce or Bucky actually exist. It's just a dream. Another nightmare. There's also the fact that it would look more suspicious not to respond.]
I'm sure. Is there something I can do for you, Mr. Pierce?

@dickcheese, audio;
And clearly, he doesn't think John heard that. ]
You dying is not an inconvenience, dude. B-but I knew you'd come back.

It's all right, Rhys, calm down. Are you okay? Were you injured the other night?
[The other night five years ago. John rubs his eyes he hadn't slept last night. It's just getting more confusing to sort between things. Had Rhys sounded like one of his patients at the clinic? He thinks so. It would make sense for his dream to draw from something. His voice is absolutely familiar.]

He sees this broadcast and it's-- relief? Guilt? Sorrow? Even anger? He has no idea what to say, but he has to say something.]
I'm sorry.
[Sorry he died? Sorry for the Soldier being the last voice he heard? Sorry for not remembering? For it all?]

[John Hamish Watson... do better, for godsake.]
I mean, are you still the Soldier?

Please tell me what happened to Bucky.

How do you mean? What's happened to him here? I told him to talk to you before I died.

[Which isn't very all right at all. Some of these public conversations have slipped a little away from him, but John likes to think he's doing a decent job pretending.
He's the one who reads everything, love. No escaping his notice.]

[It's not nearly as funny when it's literal.]
Claire and I have been looking after your patients, more or less. We're still in the area around the school if you need help yourself.

I'm fine, thank you. Two eyes is an upgrade.
[He does switch to private after that, though. Fake or not, he's committed to being transparent about a few things.]
You should know it's been five years for me, by the way. They had a Dr. Strange film.

Of course, even if it weren't unusual, England would still check on John.]
And you gave me a hard time for apologising after I died. I'm truly glad you're alive, though I'm sorry that you've woken up here again.

[At least until he wakes up.]
