So I was talking to Winter earlier, and she agreed to make an app for me. Whatever it is will interface with the technology around town wirelessly, or so she says, so we can use it on the servers in town hall. You know, assuming we ever get there. Anyway, she didn't actually give it to me yet, but I'll keep you all updated.

[A shining beacon of positivity. He sighs, raking his hand through his hair.]

In other news, my feet are fucking freezing, because no one gave me the heads up that I'd be taking the vacation from hell in the middle of Bumfuck, Alaska, so I need some shoes. Or socks, whatever, I'm not picky. I'll trade for them, but don't waste my time and try to scalp me. [There's the slightest pause.] Uh, thanks.

well my earth was part of one of those frog universes
but the one my friends make in the future is something i cant answer because i wasnt there to see it and jade hasnt told me the details

i figure the specifics dont really matter while im here
and if we find the way back to our own worlds ill figure out one way or another

not in any way that matters right now
the way i figure it if i dont know then i cant mourn it if we dont make it
i already want to get out of this place so the knowing doesnt change it
theres a universe there waiting and thats enough
and the other thing
id rather live my future as it happens to me
not get it dictated ahead of time

I can't tell whether you're being insincere or not. Regardless, I've never gained anything through doubt.

determination is how any of us are even going to make it that far
i just dont like to count my eggs before they hatch

I don't see the point in entertaining any other possibility. It makes it more likely to happen than if we focus on moving forward.

[She knows logically there's a chance they won't make it, of course, but it's hard for her to understand what that point of view gains anybody.]

i leave the optimism for the optimists because i know i cant fake it
dont think that me entertaining the other options means im not going to keep going
i want us out
i want everyone safe
and the only way to do that with our limited time scale is to keep going the way we know we have to

I've survived more hopeless situations than this.

but my minds made up on this

im just saying im not changing my own stance because you like focusing the other way
