[log] Event: Lavender's Green, Part Two [open]
Characters: everyone
Location: mysterious, white hallways
Date: Day 193-194
Summary: Find friends. Get lost. Don't look.
Warnings: Potential for gore and psychological horror. Please note any specific warnings in your subject lines!
While confusingly similar, the area is split into a few different sections:
The Core
The hallways here are narrow and twist at a rapid rate. With how dazzlingly white everything is, it's easy to not realize you're coming on a turn and slam right into the walls. There are no rooms here--no one starts here, though they may find it while they wander. At the center is a large, round area, like the center of a spiral. There's a lot of air pressure here.
The Inner Hallways
The largest area, filled with dead ends, gentle slopes and twists, and, occasionally, difficult-to-see drops where a higher hallway intersects with a lower one without a wall to separate them. The whole place tastes vaguely like blood. Most rooms are here--most people start here.
The Outer Hallways
The outer ring of the ball of yarn. It's not as thick with halls and twists as the other two areas, leading to a lot more boring walking in one direction. It's totally possible to circle around the same path multiple times without realizing it, as everything is so similar here. Occasionally, footsteps can be heard just outside the farthest walls. Sometimes, something breathes. There are a few rooms here--some people will start here.
Remember to note what kind of eyes your character has in their top level!

[The guy who killed him last time had nothing but a yardstick and motivation. Simply being unarmed wasn't a comfort.
Instead, he latches onto the contrast between appearance and voice. A spirit would make the most sense, but he'd been told magic didn't work in this place. So he assumes, accuses, if only to get an answer.]
Who the hell summoned you?
no subject
[His fingers clench, working anxiously as he scoots himself further away.]
Doesn't matter if you're armed or not, then. You've got plenty of ways to kill someone if you were allowed.
So who summoned you? [And how fast should he expect to die here?]
no subject
[That's all the reason he needs to be jumpy, thank you very much. But at the very least, he realizes this isn't a proper answer, begrudgingly continuing.]
I don't fucking like to assume the mortal are going to be treated on an even plain with those like you. That's suicidal thinking. [In a normal environment, where things made actual sense. But whatever.]
no subject
[He bristles visibly when Andersen's eyes travel, his hand finding the edge of his scarf by reflex and pulling it up past his chin.]
If you're friends with the elf, you can tell him to keep his damn mouth shut if all he feels it's good for is wasteful mockery.
no subject
At the question, his ill humor quickly dissipates.]
No. I just told you to stay away from me.
The last time I had one of you following me around it nearly got me killed.
no subject
[Horus could be trusted one second and then betraying everyone he knew for a goddamn pastry the next, but that was a mild example. Should summons not be confined to their objects of choice, most made it very clear they would be up to more than just mischief.]
no subject
Enjoy the most incredulous look slowly morphing over Lutha's face.]
Material for what?
no subject
[WHAT IF HE JUST WALKS AWAY, RIGHT NOW.]
no subject
--Yes. I don't exist to be anyone's entertainment. That's a fucking waste of time.
no subject
Go chew on someone else, then. What, were you just fucking joking before? Following me isn't going to help you.
no subject
[He's not expecting an answer. This is probably a mistake. Nevertheless, he continues, not bothering to look back at Andersen while he barks at him.]
Why don't you pull from that extensively creative pithole of a brain and think of something else to do with your time besides wasting it on me?
no subject
How about you go recite one of your damn stories to a wall and have a more appreciative audience?
