While confusingly similar, the area is split into a few different sections:
The Core
The hallways here are narrow and twist at a rapid rate. With how dazzlingly white everything is, it's easy to not realize you're coming on a turn and slam right into the walls. There are no rooms here--no one starts here, though they may find it while they wander. At the center is a large, round area, like the center of a spiral. There's a lot of air pressure here.
The Inner Hallways
The largest area, filled with dead ends, gentle slopes and twists, and, occasionally, difficult-to-see drops where a higher hallway intersects with a lower one without a wall to separate them. The whole place tastes vaguely like blood. Most rooms are here--most people start here.
The Outer Hallways
The outer ring of the ball of yarn. It's not as thick with halls and twists as the other two areas, leading to a lot more boring walking in one direction. It's totally possible to circle around the same path multiple times without realizing it, as everything is so similar here. Occasionally, footsteps can be heard just outside the farthest walls. Sometimes, something breathes. There are a few rooms here--some people will start here.
Remember to note what kind of eyes your character has in their top level!

He fiddles with his tablet for a few moments before sighing. Its still dead, so he can't use it to communicate. But Zell was safe enough, wasn't he? A quick glance around showed they were alone.*

*His first attempt at speaking is aborted by a mild coughing fit. But once it ends he manages to speak. His voice is a hoarse whisper, from not speaking for long and all that coughing just now.*

I guess you have to, huh. [ He says more to himself than to Brian as his attention moves to the tablet for a moment. His own was dead, which sucked for a completely different reason. He couldn't hear or see the faces of anyone he knows. He couldn't be sure about what's real or not.
Taking an unsteady step closer as he makes a face at the blood still trying to obscure his view. Wiping at it again. ]
I feel like I have to kill someone. [ He's shaking his head. ] I won't. I don't think I will...[ But he could. It was normal at home. ] Not friends. [ He doesn't want to kill Brian at least, but the words are still poking at his mind. He'll fight it as best as he can. ]

Alright. We can look for her together. [ He's not concerned about answers either. Normally he would want to kick the ass of whomever is running all of this crap, but his thoughts are going towards just killing someone.

*Hopefully he won't need to do anything about Zell's prophet eyes, but he'll be ready just in case. It made him feel odd in ways he couldn't quite, grasp, though.

[ Normally he's pretty great at these things. They had practice in his world with puzzles and mazes, but with everything happening here, he wasn't in the most patient of moods. Keeping his hand on the wall as a guide as they go. ]
