Hello, everyone. For those of you who are new, my name is Natasha Romanov. I'm one of those superheroes you might have been warned about.

In the interest of accurate record keeping, I'd like to help Doctor Strange sort out how many worlds and alternate universes we have here. Knowing what powers you had before arriving would be helpful, too.

I'm not going to twist anyone's arm in this. Share or not, but we might be able to find out a pattern between our home worlds. So, if you could, here are some subjects I'd like you to hit:

In the interest of transparency:

My world is called Earth, and it was 2008 when I "left". The most recent, impactful event was the passing of the Superhuman Registration Act, which required all superhumans to register with the government after a villain with powers caused the deaths of hundreds of civilians in an explosion. Not everyone in our community agreed on the act, so it went about as well as you'd expect.

Alternate universes are something my colleagues and I deal with commonly, as is magic, monsters, aliens, anything you can think of. @hawkguy and @IAmLegend are the other heroes from my version of Earth specifically. The things we've encountered here—advanced AIs, nuclear weapons, nanomachines, etc, are all things I've dealt with at home to varying degrees.

As for powers, I don't have anything flashy. I was treated with a serum that stops my aging and gives my immune system a boost. I'm not Captain America, but I heal a bit quicker than most and don't get sick.

earth was the planet
but it was located inside the genesis frog some trolls from another universe created
and that frog was located in paradox space which is kind of the overarching chunk of reality we were all in
so think of it how you like
sburb took place within paradox space too but within this area called the incipisphere
if you want details about our session and how that works i can give them but i gotta warn you its complicated

2009 was the last year any humans were around because of the reckoning
which was this total bombardment via meteors sent from the incipisphere thanks to stable time loops
earth kept existing for a longass time after that though because of other complicated sburb stuff
then eventually the universe got murdered
though by our perspective that was all on the same day as the reckoning because time is subjective as shit
linearly it was three years since that day before i got brought here but ive got somewhere between four months and a year pocketed away via an alternate timeline before i jumped back
if it matters we didnt bother marking the progression down in earth terms
its just bye bye earth + 3 not 2012

not until rose started the game and made her needlewands
she alchemized her knitting needles with some wizard junk and her creepy grimoire and learned to fly and blow stuff up

basically though life on earth was super mundane no special powers whatsoever until sburb happened
then we each got something

What is the technology level like when compared to Norfinbury?
hard to say
in some ways its objectively less since our smart phones and so on arent as fancy as the tablets
no wireless charging or city wide wifi
no nanomachines
but the technology for a game like sburb existed
and sylladexes
i havent heard of anybody else having those
basically sylladexes are this card based inventory system
saves a lot of space and effort if you can just carry a bunch of junk in some captcha cards you know
there were strife syllabuses too which were like sylladexes but for weapons
bladekind represent

Is contact with other worlds/universes/planets common?
i dunno about common
there were twelve aliens that bugged us but thats because they created our universe and were jackasses
and because of sburb stuff
but we didnt really know they were aliens or from another universe until the game really got going

so moving onto powers
what ive got comes partly from being a sprite and part from being the knight of time
its not magic and im not sure id call it a superpower so much as just video game junk
like you know how in an rpg a certain class has abilities that come with it
its like that
its not mundane but superpowers make me think superheroes and im not one of those

so first off
time travel
in sburb theres this item creation system called punch card alchemy
and i combined some stuff with that to make my time tables
which were like turntables but floating and with gears and turning them back sends me back through time
i scratch back a little i go back a little
i scratch back a lot and i go back a lot
i can be specific as i like about it
or i could anyway
i dunno whether anyone else could use them because the only other person who has was regular dave after i handed them over to him once i traveled back
and he was knight of time just like me
without the equipment i cant go back anymore

becoming a sprite gave me a bunch though
first off just being a sprite dumps a ton of knowledge into your head about how sburb works and the quest your player is supposed to complete
which for me meant daves quest
the other sprites got the same for their own players
and its just like there in your head like you downloaded it directly
it comes with this impulse to be all cagey and drop cryptic mystery hints to amp up the wonder and get them to discover all the mystical personal growth shit on their own
but not so strong i couldnt go nah and just dumb the deets whenever i felt like it
also it wasnt like
omnipotence or anything
i didnt know everything
just a lot

sprites also fly
which has nothing to do with my wings believe it or not
jaspersprite was just an eldritch princess cat and nannasprite was johns grandma plus a clown down and they floated around like it was nothing
i lost a wing once but it didnt stop me
and its just like

like how you walk when you want to walk but without legs
and you already know that got nerfed when i came here
back during sburb i could fly between our lands no problem
now i cant get more than a couple inches off the ground
my friends wound up able to fly too but for other reasons like magic or going god tier or johns stupid rocket pack he got himself killed with
so thats different than sprite stuff

also i could survive a lot
like the whole lost wing thing
and i got almost gutted in the same fight but just like
slapped a bandage around my middle
couldnt go doing badass fighty stuff but i did go finish daves quest for him since he had more important things to do
and i healed up later
wing came back and everything
probably just sprite stuff

there was also this sprite pendant i could bestow on my player
like a physical object i manifested out of special woogly sprite powers and gave over to dave
he could use that to call me down wherever he was
just by like
kinda holding it and willing it to happen i guess
and bam id get teleported to where he was to help out
you typically hand it over once your player hits the right stage in their quest but our session was weird so i couldnt really lay out the metric for when that is

and the letters on mine were all orange and glowy because of course they were
i could do doodles like that too

Earth, 2016 - best differentiated by major cities Gotham and Metropolis. Also prominent vigilantes Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, etc.

Magic - yes. One woman casts spells by speaking backwards. Rituals involving candles, blood, symbols, etc. Source of power for some heroes/villains who may or may not need rituals or incantations.

Technology - on par with Norfinbury.

Off-world contact - unknown to civilians, common in the superhero community.

Mythical creatures - uncommon. Wonder Woman does have contact with the Greek pantheon, but somehow that stays out of the news mostly.

Sentient races - one acknowledged, true count unknown.

But I can tell you about our world. I've told a few other people before. We're from Earth, the year is 2074, and our version suffers from the effects of nuclear winter after the destruction of antimatter plants in 2029. The explosions were set off in an effort to eradicate a deadly virus called Radical-6 that had already killed millions.

Obviously, this was all before I was born, but my Grandpa told me about why the world's a wasteland--he was alive for it. Survived the worse of the fallout. I don't know anything about superhuman abilities or other worlds. I don't think that kind of stuff exists for us.

James Moriarty stood trial and was pronounced not guilty after committing simultaneous break-ins at the Tower of London, the Bank of England, and Pentonville Prison.

There was also the recent fall of SHIELD and the subsequent SHIELD files being released to the public by one Natasha Romanov. As far as I'm aware, a different one than you, though.

Okay, I'll fill some of these out as I have been in contact with a superhuman before, but I personally have no superpowers.

Superpower.

Both, from what I understand. The superhuman I personally know was subjected to radioactive materials as a child and developed his powers afterwards, but there is also an element of genetic mutations in some superheroes.

Does magic exist? If so, what is it like?
Yes. Magic is mostly related to interactions with other dimensions and planes, whther one is drawing power from neighboring dimensions or utilizing them for travel. Each dimension has its own base set of physical laws and by manipulating connections between dimensions one can use the physical laws of one dimension to subvert the laws of another.

Other people in my world have exhibited abilities that could be classed as magic, but I have less technical familiarity with whatever the Scarlet Witch does. Could be the same thing, could be a form of telekinesis. Some magic performed by visitors from other worlds might be considered a form of technology we simply don't understand yet.

What is the technology level like when compared to Norfinbury?
Most of it is familiar, or at least what I would expect to see in my world in the next deacade. Nanomachines remain largely theoretical, but I owned a tablet very similar to this one apart from the need to plug it in.

Is contact with other worlds/universes/planets common?
These days? Yeah. If that goes back more than about a decade the general public wasn't aware of it, but considering we have had a literal alien invasion and my order recently prevented an attempt to give the Earth over to the Dark Dimension, I'd say it's common enough.

Do monsters/ghosts/fairies or other "mythological" creatures exist?
The Norse pantheon is real, but jury's out on whether they qualify as gods or aliens. The only monsters I'm aware of in my home dimension are of the manmade variety.

One, humans, with maybe a few representatives of others.

The current year in Eorzea is a matter of debate among scholars largely based on political affiliation and personal judgment; depending on one's view of the Eorzean Alliance, it is either Year 5 of the Seventh Umbral Era or Year 1 of the Seventh Astral Era. For reference, I was born in Year 1555 of the Sixth Astral Era... hence, I doubt very much that this will help you in any way.

Does magic exist? If so, what is it like?

What is the technology level like when compared to Norfinbury?
Simultaneously more primitive and more advanced depending on the society within Eorzea we are comparing to Norfinbury, I would wager. "Tablets" and "nanomachines" are admittedly far beyond the ken of any in Ishgard — though we have airships to travel the lands and automatons that guard our Church. The empire of Garlemald and the ancient Allagan Empire likely have technology to rival Norfinbury's, however.

Is contact with other worlds/universes/planets common?
Yes.

Do monsters/ghosts/fairies or other "mythological" creatures exist?
So I'm told.

How many sentient races inhabit your planet?
That depends on whether or not one considers the beastmen "sentient races." I would answer "a great many" and leave it at that.

How many other people are from your world in Norfinbury?
Four men still alive, including myself. We had a fifth, but she left us and her death was announced some time ago. There was a sixth who died before my own arrival; to the best of my knowledge, his body resides in the hospital.

I have no special powers or abilities. My companions are like to prove more enlightening in that regard.

We're behind it in some ways, but it seems very familiar in others. The tablets aren't something we have, or the nanomachines or whatever those whiteboards in the school are. But the fixtures in the houses and materials used in construction all seem about the same.

The terrorist attack on the twin towers in New York in 2001 was probably the most recent major event. George W. Bush is currently president. The Apple iphone was recently released.

And as for powers or abilities, try to be as descriptive as possible. I have the special ability of telekinesis. There's not really a name for it yet, but these abilities are genetic in nature. It's possible to separate out and find a particular genetic marker that will indicate the possession of an ability. With telekinesis, I can move or manipulate any solid objects with my mind. Liquid is difficult and I can't hold it long. I would guess this power isn't entirely unique, but with these powers being so rare as it is, I wouldn't really know.

Not to my knowledge, though by some standards, the Titan powers may count. More on that below!

What is the technology level like when compared to Norfinbury?
We lack much of the technology this place once had. We don't have communication devices like the tablets, we don't have microscopic machines, or robots, or spaceships. We don't have what you call electricity. The technology in our world is either horse powered or powered by pneumatics; compressed air or gasses. We use oil lamps and candles for lighting.

Not to my knowledge.

We have the Titans, which no other world I've asked about seems to have. Titans are giant humanoids who feed on humans. They look like genderless, malformed people and range from three to fifteen meters, typically. Specimens as tall as sixty meters have been encountered. They are typically single-minded and not highly intelligent.
It should also be noted that there are some humans who possess the ability to turn into Titans, or more accurately, to form a Titan body around their own. These people are not Titans, exactly, but they're not perfectly normal humans, either. They regenerate at an alarming rate.

How many sentient races inhabit your planet?
Humans and Titans. I include Titans because there have been instances where Titans have displayed human-like levels of intelligence. There are also those who can become Titans, but it's not clear if they are a separate species. Most likely they're still human, since they apparently gain their powers later in life.

The fall of Wall Maria. The attempted destruction of Wall Rose. Public knowledge of the Military Police Brigade's secret First Interior Squad. [Secret brag.] The reinstatement of the Survey Corps.

Does magic exist? Yes If so, what is it like? It's elemental magic, made possible by the mana of the world. Only those with elven blood can cast magic/manipulate the mana.
What is the technology level like when compared to Norfinbury? Part of it is advanced, and part of it isn't compared to Norfinbury. For example, we don't have these tablet things, but we have something called "wing packs" that allow you to compress large objects into a small space.
Is contact with other worlds/universes/planets common? Not any more. Before Tethe'alla became Aselia again, we were able to travel to its other half, Sylvarant. Then the planets were rejoined.
Do monsters/ghosts/fairies or other "mythological" creatures exist? Oh definitely! Ever see a tree throw a giant green pepper at someone?
How many sentient races inhabit your planet? Five: Elves, humans, half-elves, dwarfs and Katz.

And as for powers or abilities, try to be as descriptive as possible. I am a ninja, trained in the Igaguri style--which is my Grandpa's style. I am also a Seal/Card user and a Summoner. (Hence the display name). To use the Seals and Elemental Cards, I pour my mana into them to activate the magic there.
As for Summoning, I made pacts with the Elemental Spirits of both worlds and they aid me in either battle or dire situations.
Is it considered magic or a superpower, or something more mundane? Using the Seals and Cards are considered an Arte--a weapon skill. Summoning, I'm not too sure, since the Spirits are the ones who can cast the magic.
Is your power unique or somewhat common? Summoning is a lost art; I'm the only one on the world. Weapon artes are pretty common, though.
Does it have a genetic component, or did you acquire it in some other way? Weapon artes are taught; Summoning is only possible because of having elven blood.
