[log] future friend or creepy guy [closed]
Characters: Roxas and Undertaker
Location Building 65
Date: Morning of 179
Summary: Roxas heads west, walks into a house, and what even is that guy
Warnings: n/a; will edit as needed
[As soon as the doors unlocked in the place he'd spent the night, Roxas booked it. He was already starting to really hate snow and he'd only been there a little over a day. At least his clothes keep him moderately warm. The first building he sees on his quest is his target.
Not even thinking about knocking, Roxas just walks straight in and looks around. The first thing he notices is the banner. Happy Birthday? This must have been from a while ago. The rocks on the floor are weird, all the boxes are open and empty, and is that... someone humming? That's annoying already.
He sighs softly and looks at the writing on the wall.]
SSE?
[What does SSE mean? As he stands there trying to figure it out, he gets the vague sense that maybe he's not alone...]

It means south, south-east of course. Like a directional code~
[Hi there stranger.]
no subject
Ow ow ow... He bites back tears of pain and just huffs at the stranger.]
Don't do that!
no subject
[He's already gotten into some trouble with startling people here, but Roxas is a much easier target. The taller man snickers into his sleeve as he cocks his head down at the blond.]
I don't think we've met before. Are you one of our fresh arrivals?
no subject
..... [Half tempted not to answer.] I just got here yesterday.
no subject
[Very new, then. At the very least, Undertaker only looms there for a short period before he moves towards the table. He's noticed the humming too, and he inspects the place settings as he speaks.]
You've already read through the guides, I hope?
no subject
Not all of them yet.
no subject
Slow reader?
no subject
[Humans get eyestrain. It's such a weird feeling.
...... Also that's not something to share with a complete stranger.]
no subject
[He actually sounds interested, though he goes back to looking around. Toeing an opened present box on the floor with the tip of his boot.]
What were you, before?
no subject
He looks down at one of the rocks and picks it up. Looks normal enough.]
A Nobody. A being made of darkness.

no subject
At least I wasn't a Heartless.

no subject
[That explains everything, right?]

Undertaker cocks his head at him the other way, as if he's peering from somewhere under his thick bangs at the boy.]
Sounds awfully complicated. But alright, so you aren't used to a human body. You do know you have to feed yourself and sleep, at least?
no subject
Just because I didn't have a human body before doesn't mean I don't know how to do that stuff. [Though the stomach growling did make him panic for a short while.]
no subject
Are you suuuuure~? A kid like you typically needs a babysitter.
no subject
What? You volunteering?
no subject
[He has places to be and houses to search.]
no subject
Good. I don't need you either. I'm looking for someone anyways.
no subject
[He taps his long nails against one of the dining chairs, casually fidgeting as he asks.]
no subject
[Unless you've met Sora. Roxas does look quite like that guy.]
no subject
no subject
His name's Sora. I don't know how far he's from me, but I think I'll go south next.
no subject
[He actually has seen him once or twice, just not with his name attached.] Why are you looking for him?
no subject
He's a friend of mine. I know he's here, he just didn't tell me where.
no subject
How lucky~ To have arrived here and have a friend, already. Maybe he can babysit for you.
no subject
Babysit? I'm the one who'd have to babysit him!
no subject
Kids babysitting kids? That sounds like a recipe for disaster, hee hee... I may have to keep an ear out for you guys.
no subject
We're a lot more than just normal kids.
