[log] Trapped at the Drive-thru[closed]
Characters: John Watson, Sherlock Holmes, Sylar, Rhys, Angel, Vaughn, and Beckett (and possibly the Cat)
Location: Building 248
Date: Day 177
Summary: Far too many people descend on a fast food joint for supplies.
Warnings: Please just note note them in the subject line if they come up!
[A fast food restaurant. The exact details of the brand are missing, but it sells fairly standard fare: hamburgers, french fries, chicken nuggets, soda... Sadly, it seems like they don't have milkshakes or ice cream, but sometimes they have coffee! This place is regularly stocked with food, so no one can stay here overnight. "ALPHONSE ELRIC, DAY ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY THREE, TRAVELLING NORTH, IF ANY ASSISTANCE IS REQUIRED CONTACT @LELRIC ANY TIME" is written on one of the walls. "ALPHONSE ELRIC, DAY ONE HUNDRED AND SEVENTY TWO, CONTACT @LELRIC FOR ANY ASSISTANCE." is written on the wall.]

[... okay then. Beckett may not exactly have a higher ground here considering his own first week in Norfinbury, but he did have an excuse. He steals a glance at Sherlock from under his glasses.]
I take it he's one of those geniuses who are actually incredibly stupid.
[It is a sympathetic comment. Many of Beckett's friends have described him in the same terms.]

He's a complete idiot. If you find the need to annoy him, ask him how he's getting on with those cat-print swimming trunks I made him put on after he got out. Wish I'd thought to snap a photo. He looked absolutely ridiculous.

(He's creeping on the coffee again John)]
I wouldn't dream of being so rude. But I'm guessing a lot of people find that they need to annoy him at some point or another.
no subject
Yeah. Not sure if you picked up on it, but he's a little hard to get along with. Not that he cares much, mind. [And there's a roll of his eyes. John's the one who has to worry about Sherlock not pissing people off beyond the point that he completely alienates them.]
no subject
He seems to have a very definite opinion about other people. Not that I'm one to talk. [He knows exactly how Sherlock feels about most people... not being terribly bright.] And I suppose, he is Sherlock Holmes...
[There is just this teeny tiny hint of fanboying in the look he sends across the room. Just a bit.]
no subject
He is very much himself. Gets a bit exhausting now and again, but you put up with it. We're going to look after that anomaly in the fire station after this. Sherlock wants to run a few experiments. I'll be making sure he doesn't get inside with the thing.
no subject
He's not so surprised as to choke, but he does make a bit of an odd noise as he swallows.] Why - of course he does. What experiments does he think he's equipped to run on something like that? [This is his main thought. Not about technical equipment of course; about Sherlock Holmes, even Sherlock Holmes, and his simple, natural human world.]

If this weren't hot, it would vile.

You and Angel. [John shakes his head.] I expect you want sugar in yours, as well?
no subject
Is milk an option, or is that only a tea thing? I understand the rules are strict.

[He's talking about what you think he's talking about.]

Yeah, I'm fine with most things, really. Going out to a cafe's nice now and again, but I mostly just pick things up from the shop. Whatever's decent and cheap. I keep dreaming of getting to the cafe downtown... doesn't seem like there's much that'll take us that direction, though.
[And they're running short on time.]
no subject
[Who even let him use words.]

We haven't got the time for me to treat myself. If we did, I'd figure out a way to turn one of those aquarium tanks into a bathtub and have a good soak in hot water. God, I miss baths...
[He misses regular showers, too, but baths... baths are something to miss more.]
