Good morning, everyone. I told a number of people I would share the results of my conversation with the Admin, Eve, regarding her ability to correct 'mental imbalances' that might lead to violent impulses. I thought it best to provide what information I got from her with the whole group.

The upshot of that:

• Eve can 'fine tune' the nanites in our brains for a particular purpose. This will have no effect on MN poisoning symptoms except to make people not care about them.
  
• Use of the treatment requires patient consent. That's non-negotiable given the requirements for a declaration of mental incompetency under the NIMA system.
  
• While the fine tuning is considered an ethical treatment in extreme cases of violent psychopathy, it is considered unethical to try to treat MN Poisoning.
  
• We may be able to alleviate some of the worst instances of MN Poisoning with blood transfusions. I'm presently looking for the equipment I'd need to do that.
  
• Eve was born in Washington D.C. and used to work for the U.S. government.

As an additional note on medical supplies: I've informed the other doctors, but for those newly arrived and those seeking medical assistance, we are beginning to run low on certain medication types.

The relative medical stocks stand as such:

• Low-grade Painkillers: Low
  
• Mid-grade Painkillers: Acceptable, restock requested
  
• High-grade Painkillers: Acceptable
  
• Specialized Medication: Acceptable
  
• Radiation Medication: Critically low

I've also been previously informed that the emergency medical response injections are out and will take 200 days to restock. That was at a point that would put us past the projected end of this session... or whatever we're calling out time here.

No. The people I found out for gave their specific permission to the Admin for me to ask about their blood types.

Are you all right, though, Charles? This wasn't meant to frighten anyone. We're not even at the point where we can offer transfusions. We don't have the equipment for it. And the fact that we're all so spread out is going to make doing transfusions very difficult. We're going to need to have two people with the appropriate blood type in the same place at the same time. We're going to continually need fresh needles and the like. I'm not going to risk infection here. This was always going to be a limited-use system if we can get everything together for it.

Maybe you intend it to be limited use, maybe you don't want to risk infection, but not everyone's going to go along with that.

[Aaaand it just catches up to him that Watson seems to think there's something wrong. Is there something wrong? God, maybe he sounds like a crazy person.]

It's not stupid, but it does sound extremely paranoid, Charles. That's why I asked if you're feeling all right. Do you usually get this anxious at home?

[Paranoid? He's just being sensical here. He's seen people take advantage of things like this, it's not crazy. But... Hmm. He hasn't really thought about it before, but maybe he is being a little weird. Jumping at shadows, assuming everyone's out to get him. In a place like this, that attitude just makes sense, but... maybe it doesn't, actually.]

I mean... There's stuff I don't like, sure, but I guess I'm not usually this...

I don't usually talk like this, now that I think about it. It's... been a weird few days.

[He switches over to voice, even though he sounds nasally.]

It's been a weird few months. There are legitimate reasons to be on edge here, mate. I don't doubt that. But just... think this out logically, yeah? There are ways people can exploit this, but it's gonna be a hell of a lot of work and really not worth it in the end. Especially if we can't even find all the equipment we need.

Just try to give it a chance to work before we worry about it going off the rails, all right?

Yeah, you're probably right. I'm just- Shit back home, you know? People... do stuff. [Wow, that's articulate. How about we just... stop this line of thinking... like, entirely.]

Stuff? [He sounds confused and concerned. Perhaps whatever part of that 'stuff' is explains why Charles is so nervous about medical procedures.]
