Good morning, everyone. I told a number of people I would share the results of my conversation with the Admin, Eve, regarding her ability to correct 'mental imbalances' that might lead to violent impulses. I thought it best to provide what information I got from her with the whole group.

The upshot of that:

• Eve can 'fine tune' the nanites in our brains for a particular purpose. This will have no effect on MN poisoning symptoms except to make people not care about them.
  
• Use of the treatment requires patient consent. That's non-negotiable given the requirements for a declaration of mental incompetency under the NIMA system.
  
• While the fine tuning is considered an ethical treatment in extreme cases of violent psychopathy, it is considered unethical to try to treat MN Poisoning.
  
• We may be able to alleviate some of the worst instances of MN Poisoning with blood transfusions. I'm presently looking for the equipment I'd need to do that.
  
• Eve was born in Washington D.C. and used to work for the U.S. government.

As an additional note on medical supplies: I've informed the other doctors, but for those newly arrived and those seeking medical assistance, we are beginning to run low on certain medication types.

The relative medical stocks stand as such:

• Low-grade Painkillers: Low
  
• Mid-grade Painkillers: Acceptable, restock requested
  
• High-grade Painkillers: Acceptable
  
• Specialized Medication: Acceptable
  
• Radiation Medication: Critically low

I've also been previously informed that the emergency medical response injections are out and will take 200 days to restock. That was at a point that would put us past the projected end of this session... or whatever we're calling out time here.

The admin has said that a patient advocate chosen beforehand may give permission for this treatment.

I am willing to make you that, for me, in case I do lose all capacity for reason. I've already told Kunsel that if that happens, he can and should take me down. But this would make it possible for him, or others, to do so without risk. That is the only condition under which I will permit it. Use it to render me cooperative, then kill me. Would you be willing to do this?

I'm sorry, Beckett, but I promised Bucky I wouldn't use this system. I'm passing along the information because I said I would. I'm not going to use it, whatever I might threaten for the Joker, and I'm certainly not going to use it on you. We'll find another way to bring you down that doesn't involve murdering you.

In our situation, "bring down" is synonymous with "murder". But even if it weren't. I don't want another way. If all that's left of me is the Beast, then I am already gone. Leaving a horror to wear my body and hurt those I care for is neither a comfort nor an honour.

Or to put it in blunter terms: do I need to ask House?

Mr. Beckett, I appreciate what you're asking for, and if I were in the same situation, I'd want to be removed in a way that didn't put others at risk. But I made a promise that I intend to keep. I don't appreciate attempts, however unintended, at extortion.

When I say bring you down, I mean by means like figuring out the blood transfusions or another means to bring your sanity back.
