It ran into the door and pushed against it right at first, but it only did so for about a minute. After that, it stood outside the door, as if it were waiting.

I couldn't tell for sure, after lockdown. But I did hear the occasional thing out there, as it shuffled around the collapsed part. I would guess it waited until almost morning. Within 1-2 hours of lockdown being over.

[ He is kicking himself for not staying up to pay attention to it all evening. As much as Sylar likes to pretend he's self-motivated, most of the time he's looking desperately for direction from someone or another. Here especially, he's been feeling it. ]

[ Funny thing- Sylar is actually homeless by now back in his world. Multi-state killing sprees weren't terribly conducive to keeping up one's apartment in Queens. So yes, Sherlock, he'll be a part of your network.

He considers responding back with some sort of confirmation, but ultimately just leaves it. He'll follow directions, and send the detective information when he finally comes across something useful. ]
