are you morally compromised? that's usually when they're a nuisance.

Morally compromised? What a big word. I'd say it's more that they tend to bring in a rather inflexible concept of "saving" that only they are qualified to do.

i'm in no place to judge choices that have been made here, nor do i want to, i'm not God. i'm sure they have their reasons, whether or not you disagree with them.

It does, doesn't it? A little the irony of a dangerous man who announced himself and warned others off getting grief from people who didn't think their friend merited such a warning.

Don't worry, I'm not asking you to denounce any heroes. I only mean to convey what a trainwreck we have passing for a justice system here.

protectiveness is a very common, human trait, Mr Beckett.

considering where we are, I am not entirely surprised. The justice system is corrupt enough in places that haven't been devastated by a plague...I'm sure people are doing the best they can. I hope, anyway.

I don't object to protectiveness. Only to people who demand one law then make another for themselves.

i don't know nearly enough to add weight to any of the theories. i just picked the first one. sorry, that probably was insensitive.

It's practically impossible to enforce any kind of law here. But some have made it clear how they expect things to be run.

Insensitive? I don't see how. If you do have any insight, I would welcome it. Biology is not one of my strong points, for obvious reasons.

I need to read up more on anything to be able to give you any kind of insight. I work emergencies, and I'm only a nurse. A pathologist would be more help in this situation.

Let me rephrase the question, since I am honestly curious: does it not get difficult to live as an ordinary mortal in a world where the extraordinary is openly known?
