No, thankfully. I wear heels to work often enough, but I chose flats. The bottoms are too slippery, though, and very thin.

[She gives Clint the sort of laugh that implies she's still in pain but she's trying oh-so hard to be positive about her situation!]

But I suppose most shoes would have trouble not slipping on ice.

Aww, ice... yeah, I guess that's true. Flats aren't really great for frostbite either - I mean, uh, you probably know that, I'm not helping much. [ Clint sounds unhappy about this. ]

Have you figured out where you are? I have a pair of socks I can give you if you're close by, maybe.

I think so--I'll need to look at the map a bit longer, but knowing that I'm by the hospital is very, very helpful.

I appreciate it if you are nearby, but if you aren't, I understand. Thank you for the offer--I know how hard it must be to give up clothes around here. I'll need something for the rest of my legs, too...I'm hoping I can find something made out of fabric without too much trouble.
