[network] @fuckyou; audio; evening 148 [open][cw discussion of death]
[Church has, for the most part, been avoiding the network for the last couple of days. He's been feeling like shit and there hasn't seemed to be much of a point. Today, though, he's been seeing things and he feels like he's going crazy even more than usual. Maybe a bit of talking would help. He's even got a topic in mind!]
Hey, uh. Got a question for you guys.
Do we have any idea why people get brought back? Not, like, in general - why do some people come back and not others? Is there any kind of pattern to it? Is the admin playing favourites or whatever?
[There. No need to mention that he died recently himself. No indication that it's relevant in any personal kind of way.]
...Oh, and. Also. If anyone's got a sponge, I'd be willing to trade stuff for it. Drop me a message.

Re: text
Also yes, we might be. It's totally a possibility actually, I kinda think it's one of the most plausible ideas.

I have these two. [ His voice sounds worn out from freaking out earlier. After a moment and sounding more somber-] Not sure about why only certain people are brought back.

What do you want for them? I've got all kinds of shit I'm willing to trade.

Have anything interesting like condoms or alcohol?

HI, LOUD GUY ]
You'd be better off asking Steph or Kunsel if you want numbers, but a lot of people seem to stop returning after their third death. We hypothesised that was a hard limit for a while, but since then Doctor House has - erm, struck out more than three times. So to speak.
I don't think we've had any real theories since? I doubt she's playing favourites, though, since murderers seem to come back just fine. Usually.
no subject
And, you know, that's still totally possible. Maybe she just likes murderers.
no subject
Also we could be picking up extra lives somehow when we're wandering around. Maybe every ration run gets you a 1up?
no subject
Also if this place actually works like a fucking video game I'm just going to give up. Just. Give up forever. Done. End of the line.

Jokes aside, I thought it was related to the state of a body, if Admin was able to recover it or not, but after so long it seems completely casual...

Oh, but maybe we could make a list of how many people returned and how many times? Even if I think we probably have something like that.

@Aigis; voice
[From the tone of her voice, she does not think this is a particularly strange request. Sponges are useful!]
Regarding death, I believe it might be because of limited resources that some of us don't...come back. [It feels strange to say that. Death is supposed to be permanent, after all; Nyx wouldn't be so scary, otherwise.] There is a file in the public data that shows the names of people the administrator tried to resuscitate, but only one was successful. It could be that she tries to resuscitate all of us, and it only works on some.
no subject
[Finally someone who isn't asking him stupid questions he can't answer!]
...Huh. So it could just be a matter of luck. Figures.
no subject
It's possible that there are unseen factors, such as the makeup of our bodies, which make it easier to treat some people. But it could still be considered "luck," since you must be lucky enough to bear these unknown traits.
