[network] @haurchefant; video; One eye sees, the other feels. [open] - backdated to evening 143
[Haurchefant stands in the dimly lit hallway of a likely unfamiliar building, his face illuminated by the screen of the tablet.]
Hail, friends!
Joacin and I have been exploring the depths of miss Kesara's tunnels and found a most wondrous place.
The pamphlets say 'tis a museum, one housing the art of Norfinbury. This, I think, could be a precious place indeed to glean information from.
[He sighs.]
Unfortunately I myself have found the artwork and the plaques somewhat difficult to parse. Much of the art has faded or fallen into disrepair over the years.
Still, 'tis quite exciting, is it not?

That's another word for lover.
Firehouse is a station for firefighters.
When houses catch on fire, you call for firefighters.
I have video footage of the building if you want to see.
no subject
Oh... that does explain a lot.
I confess I envisioned something — warmer.
[like a house set on fire... with... poles... set on fire...]
I would certainly like to see your footage!
I've not seen much of Norfinbury at all, to tell the truth.
The tunnels were dusty and dark, to say the least.
Not much sightseeing to be done there.
It warms my heart to know that you travel with a lover even in these inhospitable lands.
We are still exploring the museum, but given that we've not found anything dangerous so far, I think it would be a wonderful place to take your boyfriend for a night of learning and intellectual speculation!
Alas, I don't think Haurchefant agrees...

[ He sends the footage of the firehouse, which includes a video of his group going down one of the firepoles. ]
Whoa. How dark are we talking about?
We even met here. He's pretty great!
He says he might like to see it.
There's still stuff to check out down here, but we'll head that way eventually!
Haurchefant doesn't like the museum?
no subject
(he's not smiling when he actually has to consider zell's questions, though...)]
No,
rather,
I mean,
I would not know from first-hand eyewitness experience, but
from what I've gleaned over the years
Haurchefant's nights with his lovers
do not involve learning and intellectual speculation
Nevertheless, you looked like you were having fun! (•ヮ•)
You met your boyfriend... here? In... Norfinbury?
I can't imagine that these conditions are conducive to falling in love, but
I must say I am suitably impressed.
The tunnels were dark — bright enough to see in, after some time, but still dark enough that I lost my footing and stepped on some decaying floorboards and... hurt myself.
So I would advise caution, but as I said: the tunnels were awful but the museum is quite nice.

Then he's going to make noise at Jim and probably for a moment try to figure out someone that HUGE could even do anything. Soon after that, he'll sputter and spaz about not wanting that image thanks. Haurchefant is SUPER COOL but not his type.
As soon as he calms down, he'll finally respond to his friend! ]
If that works for them then that's great.
Yeah! Met him here.
We were friends first on the network.
Bumped into his group and he asked me to stay.
Eventually my feelings for him changed and here we are. (^∇^)
Oh! Is that why the footage wasn't steady?
Man, that sucks.
Did you guys talk to Watson about it?
He's pretty cool.
[ Well, cool without the Joker burying him in snow. ]

in reality, somewhere in the museum, francel is probably giving thanks to halone that zell didn't ask any further about haurchefant's thoughts on intellectual speculation. not really the sort of thing he usually says his prayers for, though...]
How long have you... been in Norfinbury?
[how long does it take other people to meet and fall in love, really? he wouldn't know, given that his thoughts on love tend toward the hopeless and impossible side of things.]
I don't believe I know who Watson is.
Ah, wait
he was one of the doctors listed in Alphonse Elric's "survival guide," was he not?
No, I've not spoken to anyone about my injury.
I assume it will heal on its own in a few days.
I've suffered worse.
no subject
One hundred and one days!
Yeah, that's the one!
You should talk to someone.
It could heal wrong or still bother you later on.
no subject
Well...
Would I just... contact Doctor Watson at my earliest convenience?
That seems impolite —
I'm sure he has his own concerns to attend to...
no subject
I think he likes caring for people.
So, it wouldn't be any trouble.
You won't know unless you try, right?
no subject
[you can almost hear the doubt in his words.]
Then I shall do so as soon as Haurchefant and I finish here.
In the meantime, I hope you and Jim enjoy yourselves with the fire poles and so on —
Time spent with loved ones is ever something to be cherished.
no subject
He's pretty great, man!
Just be careful.
Thanks. :)
I do cherish every moment with him.
Enjoy yourself at the museum. I hope you don't run out of food.
