I have some questions that I would like clarification on, please.

Mainly in regards to these nanomachines that are supposedly inside us. Has anyone been able to isolate a sample of them and determine they are actually doing what the guide says? That it isn't some sort of strange placebo effect?

[That was his name there. Steve hadn't been sure how to react when he first woke up and now he was even less sure. With his back to the questionable and profane artwork on the wall behind him, knees up, and feeling genuine cold for the first time in a long time, Steve attempted to put all of the tips and tricks Natasha and Sam had taught him for using tablet computers to work to reply.]

Hello. :) I am Steve Rogers. I am not familiar with this document. :( I do not think I have maintained it before. Is there a tpyo error?

[He'd read the documents and texts that everyone had been kind enough to post. He'd read the wall of the building he woke up in too (the parts that weren't crude at least). He'd tried the door that probably led to the basement of Building 105 without success. He'd tried to contact Wakanda. He'd tried to contact Tony Stark, despite knowing how badly that might go. He'd tried not to worry that he didn't seem to be as strong or as fast as he use to be. He tried not to worry that the cold was seeping into his bones in a way he hadn't felt for years. Steve had questions, though, and after doing his best to memorize the map that he had evidently drawn on the wall himself (if the "Contact @captsteverogers for details" remark meant anything), Steve turned towards the tablet computer he had a fairly decent familiarity with thanks to his friends.]

About an hour or two after his initial arrival, Clint finally makes a post of his own. He's gone through every setting on the tablet, read the guide, and is huddled up on the couch, shivering.

He has a lot of questions.

Video is good for this. He doesn't have a problem with people seeing his face, and he especially doesn't have issue with anybody he knows seeing his face. If someone recognizes him, that's great. People usually don't... but if one of his team members is also here, they will. And frankly, the tablet's video function pretty freaking neat. This technology is a little more advanced than he's used to. So the network is graced with the sight of a dude covered in bandages. He's got these pretty snazzy purple devices over his ears, and he looks tired as hell. But he's cheerful, at least! ]

So as much as I'd like to say this is the first time I've woken up without having any idea of where I am, that'd be a pretty outrageous lie. [ Clint starts, with a little wave at the camera. ] Hi. Anybody, uh. Got any shoes? Hypothetical question.

[ Guess who only has socks on? This guy. At least he has on his Norfinbury standard-issued coat. ]

[Ah, fuck, another one that landed in town with no fucking shoes on. For some reason, the idea that anyone would be walking around in the snow without shoes gives Zach hives. He remembers how bad it was when he had just his Converses, and he doesn't wish that on anyone.

He waves at the camera as he starts a video reply.]

Hey, hi. Have you looked around the house you're in? Sometimes there's stuff lying around. I found snow boots in one of the houses I dug through when I first landed here. Do you...not have anything?

[Zach looks up. They've moved back towards the entrance of the tunnels to get to Duster and Tifa, but his plans don't give him much time to travel around.]

If you make sense of where you are, you could be close to someone who could help you. I've got my old Converse that I'd give you, if we're anywhere close to each other. I can't get moving until tomorrow, though. Wouldn't recommend walking around without shoes.

[There is so much relief in this small voice, can you hear it? At first they weren't sure but... Even his username was the same. Though there's one thing that's nagging at them - the fact that he didn't wake up at one of the revival points - they push it aside for now.]

It's okay, you probably lost your memory like last time. It should come back in a couple 'a days.

[House takes note of the cochlear implant. For once, his obsessive text nature wins. Wilson has extra shoes and may offer them out. So for now...]

Stark mostly preferred to use his own tech and even if he more or less retired from the Avengers, the compound was filled to the brim with the latest version of his gadgets. What sorts of effects took place when these nanomachines stopped working? The information stated something about radiation but how bad is the exposure rate?
