[network] @gravedigger; video; All that cold, cold, wet day [open] - morning 143
[The video clips on and shows the Joker looking down at the tablet from beneath a wide-brimmed, flowery hat.
He wipes blood from his lip with his sleeve and scowls.]
Yanno, I am really not in the mood for you people.
If you're gonna go around picking fights with poor, old clowns at least have the decency to do it indoors.
[He rolls his eyes.]
Otherwise I have a tendency to get a little frisky.
[The tablet swings around and shows a mound of snow. It looks like a human form has been buried beneath it by hand. One foot is still visible.]
That there is my dear Watson.
I'm in a giving mood so he's still alive. Better hop to it, though, lovelies, 'cause he won't survive the night.
[He turns the tablet again and looks down at the camera, waving a finger.]
No, you aren't getting any clues. You should all know from last time that I'm not the dang Riddler. And forgive me I'm not too fussed about letting someone die.
Toodles!
[The feed ends.]
(ooc: Since this a fairly last minute thing the rescuers are already agreed to be Natasha, Tony, England, America, and Ginger. I still encourage people to search if they want to!)

If you do find him, just try to get him indoors and dried off as soon as possible. Focus on keeping the core of his body warm. [It's all rattled off without bothering to ask his experience in the subject. Curbing panic with flat information at least helped her feel like she wasn't just as helpless as everyone else caught up in this predicament.]

Hopefully there will be shelter nearby. But, one thing at a time.

We'll find him. We have to.
Good luck, England.

[Another pause, a bit longer this time. The snowy wind whips and rustles the microphone during his silence.]
I don't plan to track him down. If John is still alive when I get to him, he'll need further assistance, and I care more about that than seeking vengeance.
[He remembers that Luna was pretty freaked out when America went after the Joker, so...it seems considerate to inform her. Especially if she's going to help him find Watson.]

[And yet there's a tone of gratitude in how she states it. He didn't have to bother easing her nerves, and yet here he was, giving her assurances.]
What matters to me is that you both stay safe in the end. Otherwise, just... do what you feel you have to do.

England doesn't need anyone's approval, but it's nice to know that he won't scare Luna off.]
All right. Thank you, Luna.
I'll talk to you later.
[This search has to have his undivided attention now.]
