[network][Day 135|video|@zd] Brought to you by snow. It's every where, get used to it. [open]
[ The video starts with one Jim Hawkins standing in the middle. There’s an odd, almost creepy rippling pattern being refracted onto him, the ceiling, and the floor. There’s a gloved hand from the cameraman to give Jim the thumbs up to start. ]
So it turns out we were right about the four keys we found downtown leading to something pretty important. In the hotel’s locked room, we found -
This! [ In pops Zack next to Jim, looking visibly more cheerful than he's been in a while. He's got a cheeky grin on his face as he whips up the keycard for all to see with an exaggerated 'Oh yeah!' He continues modeling it by turning it side to side, almost to the point where it's hard to discern the little fish swimming across the length of it. ]
It unlocked the tunnel in the lake, the one out behind the hospital, and lead into an empty aquarium. Kinda spooky in here, right?
Anyway, you just walk through this place, and out the back -
[ Zack and Jim take their cue to step back out of the way of the camera for Kunsel to open the door into the unknown. It looks like the usual icy nothing of Norfinbury, with no other buildings immediately obvious in the low visibility. ]
Mr. Paranoid didn't leave us any traps this time. Either it’s another part of town, or that’s the rest of Alaska. We’re going to find out.
[ ooc: replies may come from Zell, Zack, Kunsel, Jim or a combination of the four. ]

@kingdomkey ; audio
[His voice is a little less enthusiastic than it would normally be but he's been feeling more sore--more achy than usual and he's not entirely sure why.]
So I'm assuming when you say empty aquarium you mean completely empty like..no fish?
@zd; video
[ Swinging the view of the tablet from the still open door over to towards the empty fish tanks. ]
Yeah, there's no fish. There's also hot water here. Too bad there aren't any showers.

Keep taking photographs and video as you go, yeah?
Have you seen anything out of the ordinary so far?
@zd; audio
Yeah, we're going to record everything. [ A friend of his would insist on getting all the footage. ] Nothing too strange. There is still hot water here in the sinks here and I don't see any fish remains in the tanks.
no subject
[That is also pretty damn exciting.]
I haven't found hot water since I got here.

[Kunsel thinks it does.]
We walked through a tunnel that went beneath a lake, but there was nothing alive in it. No algae, no fish, not even any bones. Just a few empty shells.

Tunnel by the lake. I think I know where that's at. [He references House's map just in case.]
So who's Mr. Paranoid? Is someone exploring ahead of you?
audio, @jphawkins
[ Just in case Charles needs help. ]
First room we unlocked with one of the original keys, there was a backpack and some left over food supplies, plus a trap that ended with my friend taking an ax to the head. Another one of the keys unlocked a room that killed two people.
We think it might've been someone from one of the cycles behind us setting them up to protect whatever this is.
no subject
Booby traps. Super. [Add that to the knowledge pile he's slowly building.] So does that mean that not everything resets between cycles, or does that mean someone's still out there? [Look! He's been doing his homework!] But then why would someone who was also stuck here want to stop us from getting out? Thinking out loud, here.
Oh and uh. Sorry about your friends?
cw murder/suicide yay?
cw more suicide talk
continued murder/suicide talk wow this thread is cheerful

This is amazing!
[He's so happy for them. He knows how extensively and how long they've been following the different clues on their personal scavenger hunt.]
But be careful out there, okay? Stay in contact so we know you're okay.
@standardissue; audio
[There is a definite grin in his voice.]
Don't worry, Al. At least, not too much. We're taking precautions here.
no subject
[He trusts Kunsel when he says precautions are being taken, he's one of the most sensible people he knows here.]
You should make sure to set off on a morning and turn back if you don't find anything by noon, you can try a different direction the next day.

Not about to go out there and freeze to death after all the trouble we went through.
no subject
[He will never forgive them all if they go out there and just end up frozen corpses, not when they've put so much effort into finding this place. They deserve to be the ones to find the secrets and answers it has to offer.]
How much do you have in the way of supplies? Tim, Steph, and I are heading over, we can try and bring anything you need.
A MILLION YEARS LATER. I'M SORRY

By the hospital, eh? He thinks he knows what that large building none too far from him is.]
Do you think it a means to escape?
[If so, he's game. He only just arrived, but he is perfectly fine with getting the hell out of here just as quickly.]
@zd; audio
It could be. We can't really tell for sure until we explore it. [ The more people exploring, the better! ]
Did you just get here?
no subject
[He is totally down for exploring it, especially if it might be a way to escape this infernal place.]
Aye, I arrived just today, but do not mistake me, the charm of this place wore upon arrival, and if this is a possible means to return whence we came, I would lend you my lance--
[There's an immediate pause after that, before a slight annoyed sound.]
That is to say, if I still had it. The sentiment still stands, regardless.
