[network] [video] @Nocturne; Night 010 [open]
[The video feed comes on. Maybe it's someone recognizable, maybe not. Demyx hasn't met everyone yet, he's only talked to a handful of people. He's curled up as tight as he can be because it's freezing, just like every other night. His breath is coming out in little white puffs and he looks a little glassy eyed.
Just figuring out this much, how to broadcast, was a bit of a challenge. He draws himself up, looking into the camera, hopefully people can see his face and what he looks like.]
I need some help.
[He pauses for a moment.]
I don't know what's going on and I'm...
[Is this thing even working?]
Do you know who I am in there?

Demyx! Boy, is it good to see you. I was hoping you'd come back like Clayton did. I'm not really sure what's going on with all this people dying and coming back nonsense, either, but I'm glad you're okay.
video forever
Demyx...?
I think I'm okay. I'm really cold. Like this place doesn't have warmth. And..and who are you?
no subject
Hah hah, very funny.
no subject
[He's mostly confused, and a Nobody popsicle.]
I feel weird too.
no subject
Yeah, I don't really think it's funny either, so knock it off. I've already been through the My Friend Doesn't Remember Me schtick, okay? So, you got me, you really had me going, but you can stop now.

He looks at Demyx with a frank openness, eyes roaming all over his face and trying to commit him to memory. Had he seen anyone like this over the Gossip Phones before? It was hard to think. He certainly hadn't spoken to him over them.
After a while: ]
No.
[ It's flat and honest, but definitely not helpful. Still, something in Demyx's tone (let alone his body language) gets through to Link, and he frowns, tilting his head. ]
Do you?
Video
I...don't know who I am.
Video
Sorry.
... Do you know anything?
Video
[He muses and then shakes his head.]
That's about it.
Video
Is there something you can wrap yourself in?
Or to start a fire with?
[ Both would be best. ]

Hi. [ The most awkward and mistrusting 'hi' ever. ] Your memory should come back, everybody feels weird when they first wake up again.
Video
You think so? I really can't remember anything I just...woke up here. It's really cold and I have this thing and I've got this feeling in my chest. It's...weird. [He puts his head over the left side of his chest.]
Video
I... wouldn't know about that. [ He might, but... he just doesn't want to be the one. ] The, uh... church is kind of creepy though. I didn't like it there either. It'll throw you out in the morning.
Video
I think it's okay. Maybe a little creepy because it's kind of dark in here and cold...Where do I go in the morning?
Video
[ Man. His conscience is telling him to do something he's not entirely sure he wants... to do... ]
I'm not too far away from there.

video - @claytonator
[Probably.]
[Okay if he did he's the first other person Clayton's met who can do that, and that's a big deal, but not jumping to conclusions yet. Going the standard doctor route and assuming he got hit in the head. That's a good place to start.]
Hey there! [Friendly, relaxed, reassuring--when you've got no other memories to work with, Clayton figures being met with that kind of greeting is better than the concerned alarm he's actually feeling.] I'm Clayton. Now I know this don't make a lotta sense, but we'll figure it out, alright? Jus' work with me here and we'll get ya all squared away. Sound good to you?
[Yes, he's laying it on a bit thick. Baby steps. Don't want to overwhelm the poor guy.]
Video
Clayton...do I know you?
[He nods a little, that does sound pretty good, the idea of sorting things out properly.]
no subject
Eh...not that I'm aware. But we can go ahead and fix that up right now, now can't we?
What's it yer wantin' t' know?
no subject
[He tilts his head a bit.]
I don't really know what I'm supposed to ask new people I meet. I really don't remember much at all.
no subject
That much, eh? [Clayton bites his lip.] Well that ain't too much of a problem--when ya meet someone new, you typically ask questions 'bout 'em to get to know 'em better. So you'd ask 'bout me--say, why I'm answerin'. Answer is, I'm just that kinda guy.
[He chuckles. Okay, okay, maybe Demyx isn't in a position to get that kind of humor, but that was mostly for Clayton.]
--Also I'm a doctor. 'S my job t' make sure y'all 're comfy 'n safe. So then I'd ask-- [here Clayton gestures with both hands pointing to himself, for emphasis] --are ya somewhere safe? Looks like yer indoors, 'least?

I don't know you, but - what sort of help are you looking for?
[If there's a way she can prove it, she will.]
video
[He sighs.]
I'm not sure I'm making sense.
video
[Not much about this place does make sense, so Tink can only nod her understanding.]
Do you have anything you can use to get warm?
video
[He feels like he's been alone for awhile.]
video
{Not with people appearing in all sorts of places.]
