John breathes a sigh of relief, shoving the heavy door entirely open and letting what meager morning light there is in the tunnels filter into the basement below. "I think you could use a change of scenery, yeah?" Even with the frigid air, it's fresh air. As fresh as anything can get in this place.

He moves back over to his pack, pulls that on, and then turns his attention to Alfie. "Let me know when you're ready to move. I'll help you up and out. Don't push it if you need a bit."
