[network; video] @Nobody; [open] Morning 010
[So many people keep dying. This time, he knew three of the names in the obituary, even if he'd only spoken to two of them once. This is unacceptable. They need to find a way to stop this.
[The video feed opens on Lea's face, looking sort of stern.]
So I say this is getting out of hand, who's with me? [He lifts one finger as if to call for a show of hands, then lowers it and shakes his head.] People keep getting caught outside after dark, and it's gotta stop. We need a map, even a crude one, so people have some idea how far they're gonna need to travel to find shelter and food, or this is just gonna keep happening.
[The view shifts away from him and downward, to show a page in a spiral notebook. It has some boxes and squiggly lines on it. Lea's no cartographer, but it's something.]

[The feed stays on this doodled map while Lea continues speaking.]
On the far right is what's believed to be the southeasternmost corner of this town. It's a veterinary clinic that's apparently cornered in by that huge snow wall. To the south is the wall. Everything westward of it I've mapped as I've traveled around, though I can't guarantee the scale by a long shot. I marked each house with a noteworthy feature, in case anyone happens upon it, so we can try and cobble the rest of the map together based on who's traveled from where.
This is about all I've got--nothing else I've noted has any orienting landmarks--but if anybody can expand on it, we might be able to figure out where other people are in relation.
[The feed comes back around to Lea, and he frowns darkly.]
We've got no choice but to work together, or people are just gonna keep dying. Anybody got anything?

action bc i can't be tamed!!
I used to draw a lot, back home. If we could find some good art supplies, I could start trying to draw a map. I don't know how successful it'll be, but it's something. I'll need help from the others, though. Descriptions of where they've been, and where it is in relation to everything else.
[ She pauses, eyes downcast. ]
Did you know any of them?
action!
[He gives Clarke a weary sort of look and hefts a sigh.]
A couple of them I spoke to on the network, but only once. Demyx, though... [He shakes his head.] I knew him from back home. We, ah... we used to work together. [He's not exactly sure if he would have called them friends, but even without a heart, he had known that Demyx wasn't a bad guy. He had been about as close to a friend as Axel had had before Roxas showed up, and Lea is genuinely upset that he's dead. Would he come back, like Clayton had? Or would he just vanish forever like others seemed to have done?]

[ The name is unfamiliar on her tongue, strange and foreign-sounding. It hardly goes with a name like Lea. ]
I never spoke to him, but I'm sorry. That can't be easy to hear.
[ None of it is, not really, but it's the names she recognizes that frighten her the most. Only the first time was she truly stricken by an unfamiliar name. She hates to see all of the names, but sometimes she isn't sure if they're people that were ever really here or just fake names to stir up fear. When she knows them, she knows they aren't. ]
But they aren't always really dead, are they? Just a false obituary, meant to scare us.

video; @BAELFIRE
[ he's never experienced anything like it, and doesn't know how to react, bu the boy looks rather flustered. ]
I could describe to you where I've been, or... or send you another message to add to your map?
video;
Hey, kiddo, how you holding up? [He doesn't want to talk about all the people dying, so he'll just focus on the next thing Baelfire says.]
If you think you can describe where you've been, it'd be great, even to just get an idea of where things are. Anything noteworthy about the buildings you found that would make them stick out, about how long you traveled between them, and which direction you were going, that'd all be helpful.
video;
[ a small smile, a shrug. he's found some friends here though, and that's half the battle. ]
I have been heading south east since I got here, if... the sun rises and sets the same as it did home. Two of the houses have... well, a lot of the walls are caved in. They've been pretty cold.
[ a tiny frown. he's found a place now that has all of its walls, at the very least. ] How are you?

[Better instead if he just presents what's being requested.]
I've got a couple'a maps I've drawn up. Maybe you can make 'em fit on there somehow.
[Attached are two maps; the second one cuts off at the "empty house" and doesn't go any further east, because I got too ahead of myself while drawing these. Close enough.]
I'd send 'em off to Steph--she's got a good set goin', I think. Thinkin' Clem'n I're in the southwest corner, whereabouts.
[A pause. Clayton squints and gently strokes his beard.]
If you don't mind my askin', didya take a look in that vet's place?
video
And yeah, Steph was gonna be my next stop. I just figured maybe I finally had enough on here to be useful to somebody.
[Lea shakes his head then.]
I wasn't actually at the vet, I just got the info from ah... Tadashi. Tadashi Hamada. He said he'd been there and seen it was cornered in, but I'm not sure what he found inside.

Some of us have been noting our travels with Stephanie over here.
[Don't ask how many tries it took him to get that link right while blind.]Keeping a more direct record of what is to be found in each location, as you seem to be proposing, can only help.

It might also be a good idea to keep some fully written explanation, in case anyone else loses their sight in this place or arrives already lacking.

@Enoch; voice
[The voice is slow and measured, as if the owner is exhausted, inebriated (unlikely, as it is also very well-enunciated), or some other state of mind not conducive to immediate thought, but trying to be.]
I... [he stops to think.] I traveled south, past the lake, from another house I can't think of anything to name by. I was traveling directly south, so...north and slightly east of that is another house whose roof leaks, but only at night. I wouldn't recommend staying there unless you must.
voice
[The odd tone of his voice doesn't go unnoticed, but Lea mostly figures he's just tired. They're all a bit tired, as far as he knows; he can't imagine anyone's sleeping too well in this place.]
So north and slightly east of the house with the dinosaur bedroom, then? Leaky roof... [He lightly sketches a box on the map to indicate that house.] Cool, thanks. Anything else you remember running into?
Re: voice
[He should be getting up and going out. He should be continuing his search. But - and in all his years, it's certainly not the first time - his mind and body seem equally unwilling to follow what he should do, exhaustion and stress catching up with him today. He resigns himself to staying in this attic today.]
But it is another house in which only the attic is safe, I suppose. It's northwest of the dinosaur house, the better part of a day's travel. I apologize, I'm...in dire need of rest, I think.

He already approved of it when Stephanie had it-- he still does.]
I totally agree, dude, we got to work together so people can stop freezing to death. I am distinctly not a fan of people freezing to death, especially when they're people I know.
[Stiles has his arms crossed in the video, before he moves to scratch his chin.] So, uh, I'm pretty sure the map I have is, like, nowhere near your map, it's probably way closer to the north than it is to the south, but at least that means I can actually add to it.
Wait a second, I'll send you the map I've been working on. [And send it he does: attached comes this image.]
video
Yeah, there's no reason for anybody to have to freeze to death; there's a lot of places to hole up for the night, we just need to make sure people know how to get to them before it's too late.
[He takes a moment to look at Stiles' map, then gives a low whistle.]
Dang, you're thorough! This is really helpful, ah... thanks. [He's still getting used to saying that; he went a long time without ever saying anything like thank you or I'm sorry, and there's still a bit of a learning curve to re-adding these things to his vernacular.] Did you see the church when you were at the graveyard? I've been trying to determine what direction it's in. I'm gonna guess it's to the south, based on what's on your map, at least.

It sounds like you've done almost the exact opposite of me. I started to the northwest and mapped out that area, and then headed south where I met you. If we can combine our experiences, we might be able to make a slightly more complete picture.
voice
I probably should have busted this out when we were all together last night, but I was a little preoccupied, I guess. It was just kinda nice to have the extra company.
If you can remember landmarks you encountered, though, that'd be really helpful. Clarke was saying she'd come from the northeast, too, so I'm hoping you guys can kinda corroborate each other so we can get the most accurate idea of where things are.
