Why? Why, damn you? Why bring us here only to have us die? Are we naught more than amusement to you!? Does our suffering benefit you aught?
ANSWER ME! Answer or, by the Fury, you will face more than my spear if we should ever meet!
[And by spear he means fireplace poker, but that doesn't quite have the same threatening ring to it.]

[His voice cracks and he flips the sound off. His warrior's pride won't allow him to let others see him cry.
And he is crying.
He clutches the tablet against his chest as tears of grief and rage flow down his cheeks.

If there had been one saving grace to this place it was that he had been given the chance to travel with a younger brother he'd barely known. There were no Ishgardian politics forcing them into different worlds... Norfinbury, of course, had still separated them - first when Haurchefant had accompanied House into the tunnels and again when they had simply awoken on different ends of the town.
He should have tried harder to reach his brother...Maybe if he hadn't stopped to restock on rations they could have been together. Maybe Emmanellain could have been saved.]
