As you should. That's what everyone's doing here. Sometimes...determination doesn't come in the same flavors. Having determination to succeed means taking risks, not just to help yourself, but to help everyone. That doesn't mean we should hurt each other over it, but it does mean people might get hurt, and the rest of us, staying as determined as they are, should support them in their efforts to help. It's what I ought to be doing.
