this sounds a lot like an experience i had back home :o
remember the horrorterrors i told you about? i mentioned that they talk to people in their dreams sometimes
they spoke to me once; it was.... kind of unsettling to be honest
but it turned out they were asking for help!
maybe a similarly eldritch being is trying to communicate?

there are also huuuge creatures called denizens that live in the center of every planet (one for each player, remember?)
they can talk too, but it only makes sense to whoever theyre addressing
if you dont kill them they can be very helpful!
