[network] @haurchefant; video| Morning 94; I didn’t fall. The floor just needed a hug. [open]
[It's early in the morning and the Elezen is visible, curled over his tablet. He's shirtless with melting snowflakes in his hair. If it seems like he is showing off his muscular physique, it's because he is. Knowing people can he see him, he can't resist.
More interesting, however, is that he's smiling and his hawkish features have mirth in them. He's been reunited with his half-brother and some of the recent drama seems to be winding down at last. There are rations in his pack and adventure to the new part of town on the horizon. He looks more like himself than he has in over a month.]
Hail, Norfinbury!
I've been thinking over the past Moon about our current predicament. We mustn't let our courage fade with the sunlight. We should come together to celebrate all that we have accomplished.
Oh, I know our circumstances are dire indeed but if we take no time to honor our own progress all we shall ever see is the peak of the mountain looming, ever unattainable, in the distance.
[He smirks and beats a fist against his broad chest.]
Only together can we succeed in solving the mysteries of this accursed prison and to do that we must needs keep our chins high.
Of course any party we throw will be lacking in cakes or feasts but do not underestimate the warmth your presence alone could bring to such an occasion. We'd all do well to enjoy each other's company for a time.
I well remember what can happen here when we gather so I think mayhap we should find a close set of buildings and not all be under one roof, lest we draw unwanted attenton to ourselves.
'Tis worth the attempt, I think. One miserable occasion mustn't undermine all future effort to boost morale.
[He rubs his chin.]
We could make use of the meeting. Some among us know how to survive this harsh climate, some cook, some sew. Would it not be beneficial to teach each other?
Ah! Mayhap a tournament as well! Friendly sparring can keep a warrior on his toes. Right honored would I be to match my own strength against the victor.
[He gives the camera a sly wink.]
Pray think on it at least, yes?
Oh, and do remember to respond in text unless you find sport in talking to a man who cannot hear you.

Think of all we've accomplished! A new part of the town has been discovered! We've recieved contact from spirits! The killer who walked amongst us has been captured by those who remained vigilant! With every passing day we learn more and more about this mysterious MN poisoning, though I confess that comes with woeful sacrifice.
Anyroad, seeing how much we've learned despite great odds I'd say celebrations are in order. Wouldn't you?

*He's not really a celebrations kinda guy. Or one who understands milestones that aren't '100% complete.'*

You really should be wearing a shirt in this weather.

They do help the body acclimate, provided you know your own limits.
[Everyone should learn to do these exercises. Ask him how!]

[ OH GEEZ. ]
Whoa.
Um, anyway, sorry!! I went off-topic. Your party needn't be without cakes or feasting! If you head downtown, there's a grocery store that has fresh bread and stuff every morning. And just south of there are a whole bunch of buildings! Four or five in really close proximity to each other. That should be enough to spread out a whole bunch of people, right? \(OuO)/

The land I hail from is every bit as cold as this. In temperature, at least. In spirit, mayhap, 'tis warmer.
[A thoughtful hum.]
I would like to see this new downtown area. New sights to behold! The place you describe does sound like it has promise!

[She's totally missing the whole point of him showing off his body because he wants to, Rydia is just... genuinely worried.]
If your clothes are wet I'm sure someone can make a trip and give you something to wear? A-anyway, I do really like your idea and where I am right now there are three buildings built one next to the other. The whole new area seems full of houses that could be used for a small party. And the grocery store with fresh food is less than a day of walk from them.
@haurchefant; video
Rydia? That is you, yes?
I fear I cannot hear you.
Re: @haurchefant; video
Please, cover yourslf if you can. Weather no good.
New area. Not far from the grocery store, plenty of nearby houses.
[It only took forever...]

[A warm smile.]
And pray do not worry for my health. I've just come in from my morning endurance training and have not yet dressed for the day.
I'll be in full snow and battle regalia before I resume my travels.

3 problems:
a. what kind of party do u expect to throw w/o booze????
ii. are u forgetting the whole lizard situation
3. booze seriously
[Nathan makes a compelling argument.]
@haurchefant; video
[He thoughtfully rubs his chin.]
On the matter of spirits... I have heard that such items can rarely be found around here. If you find such a thing I would not protest to having it at the gathering.

listen all i'm saying is that sounds like a Major Buzzkill
and what kind of party is rly a party without grinding

I believe we need respite. Men cannot live in a state of such constant strain.
[He gestures towards himself.]
I shall take it upon myself to watch out for any foe that may seek to do us harm. I am certain our other resident warriors shall do likewise and with buildings closer together people have more options for egress.
@Rdua, Text, threadjacking because yes
liard can wait, we can frget about stuff for a night. And I dont drink and will keep eye around for danger. we need guards marba ba maybe.

That sounds like a good idea. Have you been to the grocery store downtown? Maybe we could do it near there.
[Tifa dreams of fresh food every waking moment, honestly.]

In time I shall! I'll not be confronting the snows unadorned.
Are you well, my friend?

You know, I never did understand just what people meant by the saying "I feel cold just looking at you" before I've met you. Truly an inspiration to us all, if what you mean to inspire is masochism.

Some training in withstanding the snow could be given, however.
Would you like for me to train you?
