Not a lot. Trust me I've looked wherever I can think of but a towel and napkins seems to be about it.

[And forks, maybe, but that would risk tearing what scant clothing she has.]

I don't now why or how, but sometimes things show up after you've searched the following day. Sometimes.

Hmm. Well I wasn't planning on staying here that long but maybe the next place will have something.

Not very. But I'm only little so I think I can get it to cover a little of what my shirt doesn't.

That's always a possibility. Actually, it's a pretty high probability.

Is the towel big enough to wrap completely around you?

Not even close. Guess I have to decide which half of me I want to keep warmer most.

Yeah. Even if I could, I don't think it needs making any smaller.

That's totally understandable. The napkins you found. Are they cloth? And how many did you find?

I don't think so. Whatever they are, they're going in my shoes so I don't have as many to work with as I'd like.

Apparently it'll help keep my feet a little warmer until I can find better shoes. Probably not by much but it's a start so I'll take it.

I've never heard of anything like that. But I guess it makes sense.

Has anyone told you about the snowshoes?

Snowshoes? I haven't seen anything like that so far.

It was an idea they came up with a while ago, using bits of wood and anything else they could find.

Have you spoken to "LELRIC", yet?

Hmm. Not sure how much of that there is around here but something might work.

Not yet. There's only so much information I can take in at a time and I have a lot to work through already.

Yeah. This place sure does test to see how creative you can be.

To be honest... You're lucky. Most of us didn't have anything to go on when we got here. Just "pick a name" from this little box--which I'm guessing it still does in its annoying way.

Lucky? Funny, that's not the word I'd use right now.

[Sure, there's more information than there might have been had she shown up sooner. That doesn't do much to mitigate that she's in the middle of frozen nowhere in entirely inappropriate dress any more than not being the first victim thrown into the TV world had helped with the practical matters of being stuck in another world she couldn't escape.]

Sorry. I didn't mean it that way. I really can understand how you feel, suddenly being in some place you've never heard of before. I'm from an entirely different planet, myself.

But when most of us first arrived, there were a lot of people who...didn't make it...because we didn't have a lot of information.

So, having that knowledge will help you survive...That's what I mean by "lucky".

I'm glad that information exists and that people are sharing it. But the fact I got here so late compared to other people isn't exactly my fault.
