[The terrible things have been piling up without reprieve, as they often do in Norfinbury - and it's to the point that even Alfie, master of the poker face, can't hide how much it's been wearing on him. Still, it's not long after this that he appears on the network. He sticks to audio, but his voice is frayed.]

I've got business with the Joker. I need to speak with anyone who's seen him recently, anyone who's heard from him recently, anyone who has an inkling of where he might be.

[He'd like to murder him and dump his body somewhere cold and dark. He'd do it in a heartbeat, if he could guarantee that he wouldn't just pop back up again. But that's the flip side of the revivals here - they're great if you want someone alive, and terrible when someone really does need killing. But at the very least, he wants to find out what happened to the rest of Fiona's supplies and personal items, and get them back if he can. The rest will happen as it happens.

He doesn't say anything more. He just shuts the feed down.]

I know a lot of people are scared you're going to get a mob together and come and kill him, but-- I think, from what I've seen of you, you're too smart for that. You know killing him would probably just set him free elsewhere in town.

I'm not gonna kill him with the way things are now. No.

We're still in the ice tunnels, we're heading towards downtown. I think he's near.

[He's making the decision to trust Alfie on this, he really hopes it doesn't come back and bite him.]

Please-- I know you're going to want to come, and I understand. But please don't bring an army of people with you, that'll just end with more people hurt.

You said yourself you think I'm gonna be smart about this, yeah? There is a fucking reason I'm not telling people what I'm gonna do. I don't want half the town taking it upon themselves to join in.

[He hums an asset.]

I can't promise we'll still be here by the time you get nearby, we're going to have to move.

We'll move up to meet you. Keep me informed as you go.

[And please don't let Batman listen in.]

Try to find out if he hid more of her things.

[He's quiet for a moment, but he doesn't know how to say what he needs to say, so he ends up just sighing.]

I'm sorry.

[For his loss, for not getting to the Joker in time, for everything.]

He stole a bracelet that she was wearing, one that belongs to me. Batman took it away from him. Do not fucking lose it.

If Batman has it, then I'm sure he'll take care of it.

[He's not about to steal it from him.]

[He can't really talk for long, he's Joker hunting. He's said all he needs to, and now he just has to trust Alfie will do the right thing with the information given.]
