The video begins innocuously enough - just Angel, beaming at the camera and offering a glowy little wave. ]

Hi. We - uh, Rhys and I - need some help with an argument we've been having. Just a frivolous one, nothing important. So: who wore it better?

[ She attaches a file - a photo of Beckett in a flower crown, sleeping, with a snoring Rhys drooling on his shoulder. Also in a flower crown. Then covers her mouth with a vaguely guilty look. Oops. ]

Wait, not - not that one. Shoot. Let me just - okay, who wore this better?

[ And this time she attaches the right image - herself and Rhys wearing shitty skirts made out of bedsheets. Yes, they shaved their legs for this. Yes, Rhys too. They're Hyperion okay grooming is important ]

Rhys thinks that just because his legs are longer, he--

[ But she gets no further, because she's interrupted by happy robot screams as the same bedsheet floats across the screen. It's either a spooky ghost, or Dumpy wanted to demonstrate that he wears it best. WHO KNOWS??? Either way, the feed ends. What an important post. ]

I am scarce concerned about pissing off a chirurgeon or two. I have my doubts I'll need their assistance, considering I am not a fool who gets himself maimed or know naught of how to survive in this harsh climate.

As for death, you don't have to fear it to want to avoid it. Are you honestly that dense?

His offer was pointless and a waste of time. I care not what threat one preceives me as, I am scant a lad needing my ego fluffed by such arbitrary and juvenile means.

A lack of fear means not a lack of common sense. I do not seek death, but should it come for circumstances outside my control, so be it. With how scatterned we are, I doubt the effectiveness of the chirurgeons when they are days away at times.

And the doctors have saved lives before. And I'd have thought you'd want to stave off death with any means at your disposal, for those who love you if not for yourself. But rolling my eyes at you would be really hypocritical, so. I won't.

Those who care about me know me well enough to not fret as a maiden over my possible endangerment. Besides, he is not the only doctor as you said.

Intelligent people do a little thing called research before trying to evaluate someone, Stibs. It can make them seem less like pompus freaking morons. Ask around if you want proof, because I don't give enough of an eff to provide it.

Intelligent people also know when and when not to waste their time. You are not worth the effort to find such proof. Not when I could simply pop your head from your shoulders with a single hand.
