[Well, this does not bode well.

When Watson, Frisk, and some other guy appear on the screen, he leans forward to watch, and when the broadcast switches over to another man he's never seen before, he listens intently. After, he dictates the gist of the message into his notepad app, while it's still fresh in his mind.

Then he opens up the network (which, he can't help but notice, is worryingly empty) and broadcasts a message of his own.]

Hey! Can anyone hear me?

[Frisk startles a little at the sudden voice, but recovers quickly enough.

Yeah, we can. Um. Are you one of the people we're s'pposed to help?

[devoutish]

Sounds like it.

Frisk, innit? That's you?

It's me, Frisk, and Haurchefant, Mr. Solomons. All right, then?

Ask me again if we're not out of here in a day or two, eh? I still haven't got any food.

And I did not like the sound of that announcement.

Well, that makes four of us. We'll do everything we can to keep you and the rest of the people in our group safe and fix this just as fast as we can, all right?

[Why, yes, he is offering reassurance to the man he was threatening to break the arm of and stab in the eye last night. Circumstances change things. Alfie is now part of the group he's fighting for.]

[A few minutes later. SOUNDING DISTINCTLY UNWELL.]

I can hear you. Four of us are trapped in the hospital. We're sick. Intense nausea, started after we got that message.

Are you all right?

[devoutish]

Yeah.

[He's feeling distinctly pukey himself. Lovely.]

Which four? You and who else, Captain Rogers?

[It'll be a few minutes again before Steve replies, as he's too busy puking. When he comes back, he switches to text. It's a little slower, but on the plus side nobody needs to listen to him being sick.]

Shiro, Rin, Peggy.

Sorry, think I'll have to type from here on out.

Heard your message this morning. Just you where you are, then?

[Alfie switches over too, though he's doing voice to text on his end for a few reasons - one of them being that the nausea is making focusing on text a little difficult.]

[Steve doesn't know where that is, but he he knows from the map that the hospital is in the tunnels.]

[Steve switches to text so the kid doesn't have to hear him throwing up. After a few minutes he's able to respond.]

I have no idea who you are, but I'm feeling pretty distinctly like I've missed something very fucking important.

[He even spent part of yesterday reading that stupid guide and everything... But then he spent most of the day so far trying in vain to dismantle his shelter with a hatchet, so hey, maybe he missed something after all.]

Getting locked in isn't new, or so I've heard. The rest, nah, I wouldn't know.
