[. . . . Rin takes a look at his surroundings. After a moment of careful consideration, he speaks.] It's dark? The stairs are gone? ... It's gotta second floor?

When you get the chance, could you peek outside? Tell me if you see a wall or if you're in a tunnel.

[Y'know what? Rin's going to take another look outside. He's pretty sure he's going to see the same thing, but it feels better to get up and try something rather than to sit still and wait.]

I dunno. I guess it's a tunnel? [He mostly sees snow. And broken stuff. And more snow.]

[Tunnel? Well, that explains it. Jim and Zack might know which house. Already peeking over at Jim Hawkins as he responds. ]

You're probably close to the Hospital. Give me a moment?

[Without really waiting, Zell sends over House's map]

One of the houses in the bottom left of the map. Can't really tell you which one, but if you head away from the end of the tunnel, you can find the hospital.

[... Hopefully this guy won't catch on to the fact that Rin has zero idea what he means by "tunnel". He hasn't looked up yet. He'll do it eventually and flip out about it but for now he attempts to understand a map...]

How'd a hospital get in a tunnel in the first place?

[It's a rhetorical question! Should he really step outside again and try to walk all that way without shoes? Hmm...]

I can start heading over there, but I'm gonna start lookin' for more things to wear first. It would be real hard to walk without shoes, y'know?

[Welp, Clayton might not be the only one to lose a toe here in Snowhell.] Man, that frickin' blows.

[Rubbing the back of his head as he tries to think it over carefully. Not going to remember he has an extra pair of shoes at the moment.]

You can try to lift up some of the floor boards. Break them into pieces, and then rip strips off the couch to wrap around your feet and the boards. [Lets Macgyver some shoes.]

Yeah, no kidding. I gotta cool coat though! It's got all these buttons and -

[Rin perks up. That sounded like an easy idea! He could totally do that!] - Seriously? That's how people make shoes?! I'm gonna do it! [RIGHT NOW. AT THIS VERY INSTANT. Maybe this Nofunberry place really did make shoes from scratch! How cool! Rin ditches his tablet for a moment to try his hand at prying a floorboard loose... and he fails. Rin could be heard yelling incoherently, though some of it sounds like "IT'S JUST A BOARD WHY CAN'T I LIFT IT THIS IS SO STUPID!"

After a few moments of working himself into a fine sweat, Rin huffs back to the tablet.]

I'm gonna try it again. [he is not about to be bested by a floor.]

[The free coat is pretty awesome. Zell is thinking of sharing the color of the one he got when it sounds like Rin is nyooming off to try what Zell suggested. Chuckling a bit as he continues to listen to all the sounds. GO FIGHT! GO WIN RIN!

Not exactly, but it’s something to try until you can find a pair. [He’s not even sure if Rin could even hear his response. Not that he’s bothered because it’s pretty cool that he keeps on trying!] I have an extra pair of shoes, but I’m downtown. It’ll take a couple days to walk down here. [Rubbing the back of his head.] You can rig a lever from a chair or tablet leg. Or break apart one of the drawers in the kitchen.
